ProKeeper Cereal Keeper Food Storage Container, Airtight Seal, 3-Quart

I was skeptical when I bought this, so I only went with a single one. I’ve bought “cereal” products before and needless to say the cereal still went stale. Well I am back to buy a couple more because my husband, the cereal freshness tester has agreed that this one certainly loved his cereal still fresh after even going a week not having cereal in the morning only to find that his cereal was still crunchy and crispy. It is definitely airtight and I love that it is see thru and seems to be very durable (although being plastic I still worry about leaching stuff into food), other than that, it is easy to open and poor into container. The size is perfect, price is right, not really a discount when you buy 2 or the 6, but that is what it is, I’ve learned through the years that our great nation has become the land of the greed. With that said, I definitely recommend this product and the price is right. One more thing, I’ve bought OXO before, that was a let down, cereal went stale after only 2 days.

Sending the much larger and unwieldy Rubbermaid to charity now that I have this cereal keeper/pourer. Super easy for small hands . Excellent seal and the whole top does not try to come off opening the pour spout. Win-win-win. Holds a "warehouse" sized bag of granola and the narrow design means easy fit in my kitchen cabinet. Only negative to note is when you open the whole lid, it is hinged to one side and empty tries to tip over. I set mine against microwave to prevent that when filling it. Not a big deal, but laws of physics win. Minor deal for otherwise stellar product.

This Cereal Storage container is WONDERFUL!! I love every aspect of it. It is not only attractive, but it is functional as well. It LOCKS very snugly to keep your cereal fresh and the BPA-Free health aspects are a great selling point for me, since at 78 years old, health matters! The container is sturdy and not flimsy like many storage containers you see on the market. It is simple to clean and most of all, as mentioned before, my cereal stays fresh for a long time, and the price is very reasonable!! Win, Win

Holds a box of cereal perfectly and keeps it air tight so it doesn’t go stale. Easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher. Holds up well and looks nice and simple in my pantry.

This is a nice product and does exactly what it says. Keeps cereal fresh and crisp. Does away with mess left by cereal boxes. Maybe a little tall for some shelving.

Awesome containers. Keep our different cereals fresh for longer and look great! I cut the front of the cereal box to fit the container and poured the cereal in. Easy to see and know exactly what's there. Great pouring too. Made the kitchen more organized and clean looking!

What I like: 1) Size is exactly what I expected and is very close to those most brands that sell these are cereal dispensers (I use them for coffee beans), which is good. 2) The top opens from one side (the other side is hinged) and when it is clamped shut it really is air-tight. Many of the flexible plastic containers of this size say they're air-tight but they're not - if you squeeze them it's obvious. This thing, which uses a hard plastic with no flex, works well. 3) The 'pour out' flap on these is smaller than on many, which makes it much easier for me to pour coffee beans without accidentally pouring more than I want, and it also closes very tightly. What I would think about: 1) If you drop one of the 'softer' flexible plastic containers on the floor, they'll probably just bounce a bit. I suspect that dropping this one, especially with much in it, would result in this cracking - not because of a quality issue, but just because of the rigid plastic. 2) This doesn't affect me (I wash these containers by hand) but because they are hinged (using metal, which is great!) I wouldn't put them in a dishwasher.

These are my favorite storage containers for cereal. They stay closed, no accidental spillage. The top pops back so that it stays open when pouring
