Women's Long Warm Winter Puffer Jacket Lightweight Fashions Down Coats

It is a great coat. Soft inside. Keeps you warm. I got an extra large and I am normally an xl. It fits perfect where I can only wear a long sleeve shirt with it. A sweater would not fit under it. The coat is very comfy and light feeling. It would keep me warm with only a long sleeve underneath but I like to wear sweaters so I am returning it for a larger size. One thing I did not like is I bought a purple coat and absolutely love the color. I do not like the white zipper that comes along with it. I think it’s a big contrast and doesn’t look good. The lining of the coat has a stretch ribbon material inside the coat that allows it to stretch while you move. It’s super small inside. You don’t feel it and you hardly notice it but I love that. It has this for extra room all in all. It’s a great coat. I just need a size bigger.

UPDATE: I’ve had this through a cold winter and I’m starting another. It’s been washed and dried. The zipper has been fine- mildly finicky on occasion but it works well and has held up. And mostly it’s sooo warm! I was uncertain it would be warm enough on cold days but it is! The large still works for me fine even though I lost twenty pounds since my first review below (I’m now 145lbs). I highly highly recommend this coat! It’s held up better, and is more comfortable, than more expensive name brands I tried. —————- Original review: I’m 5’1” and 165 lbs and the large fit okay. If I had a hoodie under it I’d still be able to zip but it would be tight. This coat was fine in the 35 degree (Fahrenheit) weather today. If it were -20f it might need some layers. The zipper works okay but does seem like it potentially could flounder in the future. The coat is not stuffed with a ton of insulation, just some polyester, but the upper torso section has a thick fleece like (almost pelt like) lining which keeps you warm enough. If you are in a part of the USA where the weather is very very cold it might not be enough but it is just what I need. Warm, great hood with pull ties, and it went through the wash perfectly. Great buy. I got the green and it’s not as bright as the picture. It’s green, not olive, but far less bright than the photo. Really nice. UPDATE: weather in the 20s and it’s keeping me warm! Zipper is finicky. Hope they upgrade the zipper but this, fir the price, is still 5 star

I needed a new jacket since my longtime favorite (which I really love) was starting to show some wear and tear. It has now officially transitioned to my dog-walking jacket. I washed it according to the instructions and hung it up to dry, and so far, I’m really happy with it. It’s comfortable, warm, and the purple color is gorgeous! I also appreciate that both the hood and the fur trim are removable—nice to have options. The hood does flop down over my head a bit, but it doesn’t really block my vision or bother me too much. I got a medium and it fits well. I can wear light layers under if it I choose to, though I generally don't need to. It is lightweight and doesn't feel bulky on. I don't mind driving with it on - some jackets aren't comfortable to drive in. I do like the ribbed cuffs for keeping the wind out, but some pairs of my gloves don't fit over them that well, so I just have to be mindful of that. My only concern is the main zipper—it feels a bit less sturdy than I’d like for a jacket. Hopefully, it holds up over time, but I’ll be keeping an eye on it.

I like how it fits and the length is perfect (maybe a little long and I'm a tall woman) but it's warm it's pretty and comfy. I definitely wasn't expecting white zippers. Pic did NOT show that, I figured they'd be black. Still love it.

I wasn't sure about the warm of this coat, but it's been great for our temps in the teens. I normally wear a medium and that's what I ordered. Fit is perfect for everything except heavy, bulky sweaters and sweatshirts. Perfect fit for lighter weight sweatshirts and sweaters. You don't need anything heavy underneath it, as it's plenty warm without it. The length is perfect, not quite mid-thigh, but close and covers your butt well. The hood zips off, as does the fur around the hood. I like the look of the fur so I leave it on. The bottom doesn't look like it has stretch, but when you sit it stretches with you, doesn't ride up. If you're looking for real warmth in a Winter Coat, I highly recommend this one. Flattering fit with a slightly narrower waistline. I've worn it out to clean the snow and ice off if my truck at 0° and didn't get cold. I see in tge reviews that there were some negatives on zipper quality. The zipper on mine is very sturdy.

This is the warmest coat that I've had in a long time! I feel cozy inside of this jacket. It's totally worth the $70 that I paid for it. I bought 2 coats for last winter at $50 each, and they weren't as warm and cozy as this one. This was really one of my great buys! I love the color, the zipper quality,and the overall performance of this jacket. I live in Michigan, and it can really get cold here. I feel better about going outdoors in the cold because of this jacket. I'm 5'6, 250 pounds and carry most of my weight around my midsection. I got a 3X. I could have sized down one, but I decided to keep this one in case I want to wear sweater or dress in layers underneath. And plus this size is sooo cozy. This is honestly the best coat purchase of my life! I'm going to buy in another color!

I love the look of this coat. It's WARM, and I'm in northern Michigan... Where weather is real. It's been one week and it's taken me from 10° to today, which is 37°. Highest recommendation... The look is sleek (as much as a coat can be), it fits as expected, there's plenty of room in the shoulder/armpit area to allow wearing sweatshirts or layers underneath. I spilled a cup of coffee on it and it wiped up very well after the fabric initially repelled the spill. No stain no Mark whatsoever showing my clutziness. In the car as a passenger or is a driver I can have the coat on and have range of motion and when I need to put the hood up it covers well keeps everything warm and dry and makes me even prettier than I already am. Great value great quality and I would buy it again. Highly recommend.

So my current job has me working outside for multiple hours in the mountains. I needed a good coat to keep me warm. A coat that would cover my butt and thighs, and I hate wearing hats, so it also had to have a hood. This completely fits the bill. It’s very lightweight, and very comfortable. But don’t let that make you think that it’s not going to keep you warm, because it’s great at doing that as well. Almost feels like I’m wearing a down comforter as a coat. I don’t think that this will suffice in below zero temperatures. You need something a lot more heavy duty for that. But in normal cold weather, including rain or snow, it should do nicely. At just under 5 feet tall it covers me almost down to my knees. That could have caused a problem with sitting or walking, but fortunately it has a double zipper. So I can unzip the bottom as much as I need to, while having the rest of the coat zipped up to my chin. The detachable hood is roomy and warm. And it lays down nicely without bunching or pulling on the coat. The faux fur is a nice touch. My only complaint is that I wish that the hood had snaps on it so that you could close it up at the bottom when you had the hood up. As for the shape of the coat, it’s nicely fitted, but as it’s a “puffer” coat it’s not exactly slimming. But that’s the least of my worries. Amazon recommended me the large, but after reading the reviews I decided to size down. And I don’t regret it. In the medium I have enough room to wear thicker clothing if I want, but it’s not hanging off me like a sack. In conclusion, I totally recommend this if you’re looking for a longer coat with a hood that can keep you warm in reasonably cold weather.

Except the beautiful bright colour, this jacket is shapeless unlike the photo. The top material is feels like plastic and looks cheap. The hood is extremely large; it could cover two heads at a time. Therefore will certainly not be helpful to protect head from snowfall or heavy rain.

Lighter weight winter jacket, perfect for most winter weather unless it's really cold. Comfortable, great colour, zips easily, hood fits well. Jacket flares out a bit at the bottom which is helpful if you are moving around or bending a lot. The jacket is NOT down filled, as described. It is a synthetic fill, which I prefer. I recommend this jacket.
