Best Tube Around
The red Fat Tire tubes are fantastic. They're fast, comfortable, durable, fast, and work well for little kids and adults alike. The handles are great for keeping you firmly attached to the tube and the tow strap is great for easily getting your tube back up the hill. Some people complain about the tubes not fitting the cover you just need to keep inflating they fit. These tubes are great for all sledders newbies, experts, and extreme riders. If you think it seems expensive just know you'll go through multiple plastic tubes per season that cost the same as one of these that will last many seasons.

Not worth the money
I bought this tube after reading several great reviews. This tube is made well but certainly not better than several others that are a lot cheaper. My kids and I went to a golf course with several high hills. This tube went down the hill slowly. As I looked to my right, another group with a different tube were flying down the hill. You have to hold yourself up in the tube and balance your weight for it go fast down the hill. I saw tubes on the hill that had the hole in the middle covered with material so you could sit on it and not have to hold yourself up. We brought a flat sled with really hard plastic on the bottom, that went down the hill faster.

Anybody have any so available in Texas?
I cant wait to get this tube out on some snow but it hasn't come this year. The kids have it aired up and ready to go. I hope the tow strap stays together it looks a little suspect for the job.

Good sturdy tube
I bought two of these and I was impressed at the thickness of the rubber. My husband took our high schoolers to the local sledding hill and they held up well. Haven't used them long enough yet to see how they last. These are LARGE and best filled up at your local gas station if you don't have an air compressor. They also take up a lot of space so I'm glad we have a truck we can carry them in. You can deflate them for storage, which is nice.

5 Star Quality tube.
The Fat Tire Snow Tube is rugged and tough and handled all we could give it this Thanksgiving weekend! My three kids (4yr, 6yr girls and 13yr old boy) had a blast with it. At our cottage in northern Michigan the snow was a little slushy the second day but the Fat Tire Tube was faster than the 3 orange sleds we had with us. This is a quality product! I pulled the kids behind our 4 wheeler too and I figure that they rode about 2 miles on the Fat Tube and it worked like a beast. I did make sure to pull the slack slowly before I pulled them around so that I wouldn't create a ton of pressure on the leash. But pulling it behind the quad worked great. Bottom line: It you want a TOP QUALITY snow tube, spend the extra money and get a Fat Tire Snow Tube.

Good Snow tube
This is a good snow tube. Make sure you get enough air into the tube . If not it will be loose and not perform properly. It only fits to the cover if properly inflated.

I'm sorry, I thought this would be a blast ...
I'm sorry, I thought this would be a blast for my son... So Grandma paid way to much for a tube that needed to be pushed down a hill and ripped out as soon as it was pulled. My son jumped on this tube and I started pushing thinking once he started down the hill he would just slide... we had already drove a sled to make a packed trail.... not once , twice but three times I pushed and he stopped a few feet down. Am I missing something??

Fun Times!
This item has held up well over last two seasons (used only about 5x). I deflate it mostly between seasons. It's definitely sized for an adult, but we've placed a pad in the bottom and let the kids sit inside it sometimes. I wouldn't recommend allowing a kid to sit inside it without added padding - it would probably wear on the vinyl and doesn't afford much protection from the shocks of packed snow. Its a little pricey, but I splurged. It's fast, but we don't do anything extreme. We've enjoyed it.
