Hikari Bio-Pure Freeze Dried Spirulina Brine Shrimp Cubes for Pets, 0.42-Ounce

Hikari Bio-Freeze Dried Spirulina is a great supplemental feeding item for all the fish I have in my aquarium. My tiger, rosy, and cherry barbs all enjoy feeding on this product. It creates a feeding frenzy in my tank. I know that the Spirulina provides a myriad of health benefits for the fish. The remnants of the Spirulina that actually make it to the bottom of the tank are devoured by my corydoras. I feel better knowing that I'm providing my fish a healthy diet with Hikari Bio-Pure Freeze Dried Spirulina. The only downside is the price. However, I often purchase it through Amazon when they (the Spirulina) is available in a two-pack. I do recommend this product highly. It arrived quickly. It was packaged perfectly. I'm satisfied with the purchase.

I have a very picky female Apistogramma Panduro (Dwarf Cichlid) that will not accept any dry foods whatsoever. I don't always have the time to prepare live/frozen foods, so I decided to give this a shot. I was expecting to have a difficult time getting her to eat them, but she devoured the shrimp immediately. All of my other fish/shrimp love these as well. They quickly became a big part of my community aquarium's regular diet. Just drop a cube, or half of a cube (depending on how many animals you are feeding) in a small sealable container, add some water and let it soak up for awhile. Keep the leftovers in the fridge for up to a few days. Great stuff!

I use this to soak up medication for internal parasites treatment, so the fish internally ingest the medication. Works like a charm. Packs weight onto the fish as well.

My fish enjoy this product. They're a big fan of shrimp. I'm glad to be able to give them a variety between the normal brine shrimp and crushed shrimp. Easy to handle to and distribute to small fish to. A bit messy when it's crumbled toward the end but doesn't effect the product's reception. The product becomes less 'crisp' as it gets older but aside from feel I cannot see any different reaction from my fish when eating it (and they will reject food if it's not to their 'liking').

Absolutely love this product! ALL my fish gobble it up! I have 3 tanks and a small backyard pond with fish ranging from Angels, Dwarf Gourami, Dojo Loaches, Neon & Black Tetras, Gold Fish, Swordfins, Cory Cats, Guppies, Bettas, Shrimp, Dwarf Frong thing and Mystery Snails and all have been extremely happy to gobble it up.

Having tried the entire product line, this is possibly the only Hikari freeze-dried fish food that I will not buy again, and would not recommend. Fish do not love it, and it makes quite the mess as the cubes dissolve. Don't get me wrong: fish will ultimately eat it, however they'd rather have just about any other food, and there are many better options to keep on the menu for your fishy friends.

My betta loves this food. He gets excited the moment he sees me pick it up. No more nasty pellets. And you get a lot for the price!!! Does not smell or dirty his tank. Nice large container. Arrived quickly

I feed this to my Snakeskin Gouramis, chili rasboras, neon tetras, ember tetras, and siamese algae eater(different tanks) and never have a problem.
