I ordered 4 packs of 6. So I had 24 candles total. I used 6 on my son’s cake and 6 on my best friend’s cake. My best friend loves NASCAR and goes to the races often. His birthday was recently and he went to a race. So I wanted racing themed decorations. Nothing went out according to plan. It’s so difficult trying to find nascar themed items and decorations, and he lives out of state. 5 hours from me. So I don’t have time to order anything from EBay because I didn’t know how long it would take. I forgot to grab the number 2 candle for my best friend, so I put 2 checkered candles in place of it. Oops. He was still happy and loved everything about it. The cake (ice cream cake) was too small for the other items I bought to go on my best friend’s cake. So we didn’t add those. They didn’t have problems blowing out the candles. But it takes awhile to light them because the wicks are covered in wax. However, they’re candles so it’s normal and not a big deal. My Dad even commented on how he liked the candles on my son’s cake, when I sent him photos of him blowing out candles and photos of his carrot cake birthday cake. My Dad’s birthday is in May, and I have extra candles! So if I get to visit him, I’ll use my extra candles on his cake. Overall I had no issues, the candles are great, they didn’t arrive melted since it’s cold, they’re fairly easy to light, easy to blow out, and they were easy to put into the cake and remove. The wax will run down the candles like normal birthday candles, just let it dry and it’ll come up without any issues. We can easily reuse these candles for my son’s next birthday and my best friend’s birthday next year. I can even use them for my two daughters and my Dad if I want to. They don’t have to be lit long at all.
