This is a great product - simple, sturdy & easy to fit. It holds a reasonable number of knives for its size and I have just bought a second one the same to put other metallic utensils on. Could equally well be used for screwdrivers, etc.

Read all the 'one star reviews', the only reason items would fall off this magnet were if they were just too heavy or the items were an alloy and not steel. This is a good item, especially for the price, perfectly functional in a domestic kitchen.

Ok I cheated with this as me and a drill should never go together. So I used some large adhesive wall hooks to hold it in place and so far so good. I have 5 knives on it and seems to be holding well ( 3 being, large knives) will have someone drill it in for me soon but I’m really impressed with it. I would definitely buy another one Edit: fell down after a week, it is now drilled on and is going strong! No problems whatsoever

It's very easy to install and holds all our knifes without an issue - the magnet is strong enough to hold five big knifes and a pair of scissors. Saves a lot of space. I'm very happy with it

This provided a way to free up space in the silverware drawer once I figured a place to mount it where the cat wouldn't mess with it. Note: There's exactly one inch clearance between our door and shelf which is plenty, just made sure the magnet lined up with the shelf to avoid the handles hitting it. Recommended!

I've wanted a magnetic knife rack for a while and I found this was the best bang for my buck, so I went ahead and bought it. I even found a way to display my knives while leaving the knife sheath safely on, by just pulling it down slightly to reveal a small section of the blade. This knife rack is strong enough that it only needs to be exposed to the length of the blade that covers it and it sticks really firmly. You can still pull the knives off easily, but it's not going to fall. It comes with all the hardware for mounting it, but I wanted to put it on the side of my fridge and for this, I used command hooks designed for the same weight that the knife rack can handle (17 lbs). So far there's been no problems. Even though there is an empty section at the back, there's enough plastic edging (and no lip) that you can easily stick it up with sticky pads if you want. I think it displays my new knives really beautifully, but I do wish the logo was more subtle as having it in black (against the red) looks a little ugly, but that's a very minor complaint and I can't fault this rack on functionality.
