Parrot Pot - Brick

Bought this to keep a plant alive when I went on a 2 week holiday. Got back to discover my plant near dead and the pot complaining that there was a maintenance issue and 2 of the water jets no longer emit water. Only reason I haven't returned this is because the returns date had passed. I cannot recommend this item in good faith.

Absoutely awesome, even managed to stop my usless green fingers from killing the unkillable plant.

The hardware seems to do what it promises. Software could be a bit more intuitive. Only complain I have is that the bottom seems to gather water so if you plan on going away for a few weeks you should place it somewhere where the water can overflow and spill. I wish they would have engineered it to recycle the water, probably done so it doesn't collect water with soil, but in my opinion the hole idea is that you can leave it be automatically and there isn't much "automatic" about having to check if it's soon going to spill(!)

-The single point light sensor seems easily obstructed based on direction it's facing. -Generally feels a little cheap and plasticky. -Bluetooth only app so it isn't IoT but a programmable pot. -Feels like it would be too unstable to stay upright outside. -App works well and has some great functions.

The first one was replaced because water gets to the batteries, the second one failed for the same reason. Good idea poorly executed.

Not working parrot pot test press in the watering

My Parrot Pot got broken over about one year after bought. All works fine, but in one day I've got system maintenance error and the message that my batteries are totally discharged. So I've bought new ones, but again the charging level of the batteries indicates 0%. I've reset the pot, paired it again and without success. After contacting Customer Service, they've said that my pot is no longer repairable. So beware: you might end up in buying a product which is no longer supported/repairable or the software for your smartphone might be suddenly removed from iOS/Android Store due to the fact that the product has reached its end of life. Forget about automatic watering system like this, leave your plants on safer hands or stay without plants! :-)

Hat etwa 1 Jahr super funktioniert, dann kam über die App die Meldung, dass der Pot Wartung braucht - klar. Alle 4 Batterien waren durchs Wasser korrodiert, das Wasser selber eine braune Suppe. Ich hab keine Ambitionen, das Zeug zu löten und irgendwie abzudichten, also ab in den Müll und Alternativlösung suchen. Schade. Wär toll gewesen, wenn es dauerhaft funktioniert hätte. Warum das Batteriefach, das eigentlich den oberen (trockenen) Teil des Topfes mit Strom versorgen sollte (Sensoren, Pumpe) unten eingebaut ist, wo das Wasser steht, weiß vermutlich nur Parrot.

Estamos encantados, es el segundo que compramos, lo mas alucinante es que las plantas nos viven!!! Y estan esplendidas. Recomendable para los amantes de las plantas despistados ;)

Meraviglioso, è un vaso Smart, poco da aggiungere ma qualche parola la spendo per dire come funziona Ha dei sensori che controllano umidità del suolo, fertilizzante, temperatura stanza e luce Per l’acqua ha un serbatoio interno da 2,2 lt e se dovesse essere bassa l’umidità del suolo parte l’irrigazione automatica. Stupendo Molto bello da vedere e ben fatto e si connette Bluetooth al telefono. Usa due batterie stilo

Bueno es una maceta que conectas por Bluetooth a tu móvil, pero te obliga a que te tengas que conectar permanentemente a ella para recabar información. Ganaría mucho con el modulo por wifi y que te pudieras conectar remotamente a ella cuando estas fuera.
