Very good value for money, I’ve bought small packets of Japanese 7 spices for similar price and actually feel there is a deeper and more variable spice mix with this, would definitely buy it again 😁👍 I’ve bought the usual shop bought spices we get in the UK, in my opinion much better.

Nanami Togarashi is a great flavour combination with a real chilli kick that enlivens foods way beyond its Japanese origins and will quickly become a store cupboard favourite.

Much cheaper than buying the little glass jars, I use this to refill them now. Brilliant product that give a spicy flavour kick to anything really; good on eggs, noodles, chips or as a rub for meats, I’ve even made spicy biltong with it!

Very nice. Create your own unique dish. This great Japanese spice can be used in many different recipes just use your imagination? But remember that you can always add more so add a little at a time.

Got this larger pack because it was far better value than buying it in tiny bottles. Rather unique to Japan chilli flavour. The contents had a reasonable best before date of more than 1 year ahead.

Read the reviews but wasn’t sure how good it would be as I’ve found Japanese cuisine not to be too spicy. It’s very good and gives a nice kick to your food. I sprinkle it on pretty much everything and have even bought some to send as gifts to friends in the US

Pretty much the standard in shichimi & bulk bag will last a long time. Easier to dose in cooking with a spoon than a thousand shakes from a small bottle

This came in super fast and it's a steal compared to the 5$ per tiny 0.5 oz bottle (15gr) you get at the Asian supermarket, when they do have it in stock. The product is really fresh, great taste, identical to what you get in the S&B bottle. I'd almost snort this stuff, it's so darn good on stir fried noodles, soup, veggies, etc! Can't live without and so glad I can feed my addiction at this price!

I bought this as refill for my small cylinder vial of same. I love that this is not too hot but just right, perhaps because there are no seeds in this. These are my go-to chili flakes to improve flavor in dishes I make for company without knowing their upper end spice tolerance. This is universally liked. Flavorful, not painful.
