Update 5/30/21:Immediately after I posted my 3/27/21 update Miheal contacted me and provided a coupon code for an entire new kit. Two days later I had my lights working again. Great customer service Miheal, thank you :)Update 3/27/21:A couple months ago the lights stopped working properly. When powered on, they would only strobe very rapidly from red to green to blue and I couldn't change anything with the remote. I bought a new Miheal controller and remote thinking that's where the problem would be, but sadly no, same result. So problem must be the power supply, the lights themselves, or a connector. Love these lights, just don't think $60 for 14 months of use is a good deal.Update 6/26/20:Just upgraded from 4 stars to 5.I am still very pleased with these lights despite the minor criticisms in my first posting. I have had no issues with the remote as others have reported, and the adhesive has held up (but only because I cleaned the surface before install).Miheal LED Strip, Wifi, 65.6 feetOverall, I am very pleased with these lights. As you can see in one of my pics, I have installed them on the picture moulding about 16 inches from the ceiling. The photos don't do them justice, so amazing to be in the room with those going all the way around.Things I like about them:1. Works as advertised.2. All lights are equally bright, no flickering etc.3. 15 colors to choose from on the remote, many more using the app.Things I don't like:1. I'm finding the phone app a bit clunky, maybe because you have to keep a wifi connection which I don't do.2. Hard to find the buttons on the remote when lights are dim, a few raised bumps would help.3. No timer countdown buttons for auto-off at 15 min, 30 min, 60 min.If you want some very cool lights to set a mood, or just don't always want the glare of an overhead light, you will be happy you got these.

Used this on the Trex decking fascia, (boards surrounding outside deck). Used router with a 3/8ths inch cutter with guide screwed to a slim 2 foot board and ran along the top of fascia guiding the router all way around perimeter for a straight line. Then peeled back tape, I worked the LED into and along the routed area. It fit snugly and stuck firmly, so far, so good. I first used the 64ft LED version (2 reels @32ft ea) this way: using 1 32ft going one way and the other going in the opposite direction hoping to meet at some point. Made it around about 2/3rds way then ordered this 32 ft reel. It fit the female connector perfectly (used electric tape to insure they remained connected and waterproof. I plugged into a seperate timer plug stake, I got from home depot. Baaam! All lit up and looking good. I will add photo shortly. Thanks. Better more robust LED light strip.

This waterproof led light set is legit. Connects to your phone or by the remote. SO, I didnt install the product right away, I had to finish another project first. When I did install, there was an issue, the connection was loose and the lights didn't work. I emailed customer service at 11pm, had a response when I woke up the next morning. Rather than having to wait to ship, they sent a code for a replacement which was delivered SAME DAY. This company's great customer service save the day, as my wife was expecting the lights up and functioning for a 4th of July party that evening.

UPDATE 2: Miheal sent me a new controller, and the lights are working again. Yay! However, I wonder if this one will break in 1.5 months too? I'm not willing to spend $25 every other month just to have lights. So, the review is 4*s pending this new controller lasting a long time.UPDATE: They broke 1.5 months after purchase. When I press the "off" button or dim the lights, the green LEDs come on at full power, and there's always a green tint to the light even when it's on. $55 for something to break less than 2 months later is not cool.For the money, this is an absolutely essential home purchase. I was able to install the power brick in a central place in my studio apartment, then run the two strips in opposite directions to cover the entire place. The orange light setting is absolutely gorgeous and completely changed how it feels to be in my home from the old bulb ceiling lighting. I love being able to dim the lights when I'm getting tired, but still see if I need to get up, and being able to turn off the lights in bed by picking up the controller from my bedside table.I didn't use the sticky backing, so I don't know how well that works. I have pipes on my ceiling, and I wound the strips around the pipes. It was a bit difficult to do coming off of the rolls they come packaged in, but adjusting them afterward without the rolls was much harder. Re-installation if I move may be a nightmare, we'll see. I recommend pointing the strips toward a wall or other surface and letting the light bounce off. If the LED is pointing directly at your eye, the light can be too harsh.Overall, this made me go from resenting being at home to loving being at home.

Worked fine for 4 months, now the unit blinks red/blue/green and won’t connect to blue tooth app to change any settings. Completely useless now. I tried resetting all connectors and rebooting, nothing helps

Bright in dark, i mistakenly unstuck the adherent from the half of the light-strips. so i needed to use pins (if you are careful you can mitigate this issue.)Additionally, the box that sticks to the wall (the light-box of sorts) that needs to be seen by the remote, was very sticky! so much so that it broke a hole in my drywall- a large hole. so 11/10 on the stick power 5/10 on my placement skills.The strips can detach from the box's power supply cable because they are just loose connections. and the box'x cable is SOOO shortttWhen it comes to lights / brightness there are no brighter (i have used many other types) for $30 this is bright. 2 of these (4 strips) will fully light a room.will be buying more soon.

I got these 4 years ago to add lighting to my 14' display cabinet. Super easy to set up, worked great, good price. Was super happy with my purchase. They were on from dusk (5-8pm) to 11pm every day, so 3-5 hours depending on the season. I would change the color to match holiday decorations, but they generally stayed on "white".Here we are 4 years later. From about 2 years out on it would randomly disconnect from wifi/the app and I would have to set it up as a "new" strip every time. Not too much of an issue, and didn't happen frequently, but it was annoying when it did happen. About 6 months ago a 4-foot section just stopped working. And in the way of things, I didn't immediately replace it. About 3 months ago another 5' section when out. 2 months ago a 3-foot section turned yellow and stayed that way.I finally decided what to replace it with and took it down today. The silicone on the bad sections was literally melted. Not sure how much of a fire risk it could be. Something to keep in mind when you are deciding where and how to mount it. And good grief the mess it left behind. The adhesive is really, really good. So good in fact that it is still on my cabinet, and I have to find a way to scrape/peel it off before I can put the new light strip on. It does not want to come off. Be careful what you put it on as you could end up with some damage in trying to remove what's left behind.All in all, not a bad purchase. I have decided to try a different brand to replace it though.

My daughter loves her LED lights and the way it makes her room look. The app and the remote control both work extremely well to control the lights and colors. We did have to use some double sided tape every few feet or so because the lights don’t adhere as well as would have liked them too. However, this is only a minor complaint because now they won’t come down for a very long time if at all. I want to add that there was a problem with the lights the first time we ordered them. I contacted the company and they sent me a new pack right away. I was also periodically contacted to see if I received them yet and then contacted again as a follow up to make sure we are happy with the lights. I am very impressed with their customer service. I highly recommend this item and company.

Used less than 1 month and breakdown.

Love them have stood up for one year on every night for 5 hours through +40degree and -40 degrees still holding

Christmas present for my daughter . We are very disappointed!! And my daughter was very upset. There are three parts - one part works perfect another part turns on and off every few seconds, an the third part doesn't even have the red lights working!!! And when we turn the lights off by controller , turns on red light on two first parts instead turn off . Maybe something wrong with controller....? How we can fix thise problems? Or how to retern the product....

J ai hésité avant de commander avec les commentaires.... finalement je suis super contente.. je les ai installées sous les gouttières de la devanture de ma maison j ai BIEN PRÉPARÉ LA SURFACE AVEC DE L ALCOOL AVANT nous voici un mois plus tard et elles tiennent toujours...Si vous tentez de poser un produit adhésif sur une surface sale ou huileuse il est normal que ça ne tienne pas... pour ma part je suis super satisfaite tout fonctionne a1 même mes voisins vont en installer après avoir vu le résultat! Seul conseil après avoir brancher les connexions j ai acheté de l adhésif liquide électrique et mis sur les connexions dénudées pour éviter l oxidation- verre de gris... aussi éclairage groupées 4 fils et non 5 fils alors ne fait pas l arc en ciel... mais je savais avant de commander sinon 3x le prix...
