This compact light is very bright but the diffuser is effective so that you are not blinded by individual LED lights. Love that the warmth and brightness are adjustable. It attaches well to a laptop but can also stand on its own. Also love the size and the carry bag to put in my computer bag. A little more pricey than other options, but worth it.

I purchased 2 to sit on my MacBook Pro. If you’re in a relatively well lit area they don’t do anything. If you are in a dark room they provide some light. The very annoying part is they fall off their perch with the slightest bump. I’d go to turn them on before a video call and inevitably knocked them off. I returned them and purchased the light on the stand. Sooooo much better and also very portable.

Works well to illuminate my face during video conferencing. I appreciate the portability that allows me to move it to different work stations without plugging it in.

I own a half dozen similar small webcam lights and I can say, this is my favorite for several reasons.First, it is able to stand up on its own because of the clever hinged design on the back - and that same hinge design also allows it to perch on top of your monitor or laptop without blocking the camera on your computer.Another nice thing is the size and softness of the light when used close to your subject. The 5" wide screen provides a softer light than the smaller video conferencing lights commonly available. That wider screen plus the effective diffuser on the front of the light totally diffuses the LEDs into one evenly lit panel from edge to edge. On other lights you can see each individual LED behind the diffuser which doesn't create as soft a light source.The light is all plastic so don't drop it but it's well made and should last a long time if I treat it with respect.
