Got this for my bald husband who used a regular shaver on his head for so many years and said he wouldn’t get a closer shave with anything else. He was wrong. This razor is amazing. It’s so fast and easy and gives him a razor short shiny head. No more cutting his head with blades and wasting shaving cream. Cleans well running under water. This lasts forever between charges and he tells people about it all the time. Price is much better than similar products and was surprised how great it works and the quality.

I have classic male pattern baldness (bald circle on the back, bald strip on top, hair on the sides and a little in the back). I look like a circus clown when my hair grows out. I got sick of it and decided to just go for the smooth scalp look. I used clippers with a 2 mm attachment to get rid of most of my remaining hair and finished with this shaver. Even at 2 mm thick, the blades cogged up quickly and I had to stop twice to clean the blades. I don't recommend using this shaver to try and take long hair directly down to the scalp. Once I finished, I was happy with the result. It's not as close and smooth as a razor would be, but I didn't want that closeness for fear of shaving bumps once my hair starts growing back. I've used the shaver both in the shower and on my dry scalp. Both methods gave similar results, but I prefer using it dry. The heads are easy to clean. You simply pry off the 7-head assembly with your fingers (it attaches magnetically), use the provided brush to remove clumps of hair in the blades, rinse the heads under water until no more hair is visible in the blades, and set it somewhere resting horizontally to dry completely. Battery life is as advertised (about 90 minutes of use per full charge). I've only used it for about a week so I can't speak to blade life. The manual suggests replacement every 6 months. Note - the shaver comes with a USC cable, but not a charger.

Hi Everyone! I don't write too many reviews but had to chime in on this one. I have been shaving my head for several years now and was a big wet shaver with real razor blades for awhile until I went for convenience. I was a devoted Skull shaver customer for years until I met this device this week and it shows that tech is catching up. My one complaint with the skull shaver is buying replacement blades every 3 months and needing two kinds to shave my head and face well. I now use One Lion from skull shaver for my face after going over it with what I use on my head and its a good system. The other issue is wear out. I find myself buying new or warrantying my $110 skull shaver Gold once a year to 18 months because they break or cease to function... somewhere in there I'm buying blades for 35 bucks every 3 months. This time when my Gold unit broke out of warranty, I went online here at amazon and could have had a new one with a blade module delivered the next day for $110 or I could try this thing for $35 with discount.. Which is the price of a Skull shaver blade!.... So I have use it 3 times now and mostly love it... Guess what?? It works just as good if not better! I get just as smooth of a shave on face and head and barely need the One Lion! Cleaning is super easy as the blade module separates by a magnet and sticks right back after the rinse. Skull shaver snaps off and on more cheaply. The spaces inside each blade are larger so I anticipate not getting as much hair clipping build up that clogs it forcing you to do a surgical cleaning or buy a new blade. It had two power settings but I just keep it at 75 watts and its more powerful than skull. Clean up is easy. My only drawback with it is you can't palm the blade module with the motor behind your hand. The blade only slides into the unit with no twist like Skull shavers and the motor unit will fall off. This should be addressed in future designs. The larger blade surface gets more hair faster and covers more ground. It works well and I have no irritation. It charged up fast with the included C USB cord but you can just use the one you use for your Android phone. Looks like replacement blades at only $20 here on amazon and there are many other companies knocking off versions of this... I will update as time goes by but right now this is a winner!! If it breaks in 3-6 months?? So what? it was just 35 bucks and I'm ahead of the game but it appears to be build solid. I haven't tried it in the shower and probably wont however it boasts water resistance so you can wet shave. Bye Bye Skull Shaver! This is not Chinese junk people! I recommend it.

I bought this electric shaver back in July and I have to stay its the best electric shaver I have ever purchased. The shaver stays easily in the palm of your hands while you're shaving PLUS it has an LED screen that tells you how much battery is left. The shaver does a really good job of shaving your head and face, although shaving under your nose/above your lips it is a little more difficult because of the shaver design but it will get the job done. It comes with a charging cord to recharge your shaver and it recharges it fast PLUS it lets you know when your charge is at 100%. The shaver includes a cover plus a small brush to clean out your shaver. The shaver blades are magnetic and come off easily to clean it. I do not use water to clean mine and when I use the included brush it does a very good job of cleaning the shaver. My only issue with this shaver is they say you should change the blades every six months of so of regular usage BUT... Do not state what replacement blades you should purchase. The manufacturer's Amazon page that I visited has little information on this as well. Hopefully the seller will send me a message about which blades to get and where to re-order them because like I said, this is the BEST electric shaver I have ever bought and I would like to use it for a long time! So I took one star off my review for them NOT including the information on where and what part # the replacement blades are. If they add this information I will update my review to five stars. Summary: Best electric shaver I have ever bought. Does a great job and has a really good price.

It’s my third skull shaver - and always found it difficult to open the previous blade compartments for cleaning. When reading about the innovation applied to this product using a magnetic approach - I was all sold. The issue is two fold: 1. Even using the higher speed option - it appears to be very slow and the result is not good 2. If you press the shaving device harder against your skin the blades don’t function anymore properly I can NOT recommend this product.

Wanted to buy another brand which cost three times the price. However, after seeing the reviews here, I decided to buy this brand and boy, I did not regret it. I used it three times so far. The first time my hair was a bit longer as I had used the trimmer before, and the machine struggled a bit. After that, I used it every three days, and it worked like a charm. Now all I have to wait and see how it will behave long term.
