This lock works really well! I bought it after my apartment door wouldn’t stay locked. (It was an electronic lock that would randomly open) and it never stopped working! Only thing to note, if you have a bulkier door (like an all steel door) you might have to adjust where you put this lock. We had to put it on the edge of the frame because the door was too thick. But the quality is amazing and i’d definitely recommend for anyone looking for cheap but good quality extra security!

Easy to install works wonderful

I’ve had these before. Both those flip locks and these do help me feel much more secure. All of them, though, rub on the side of the door, even though there’s plenty of room for the plate. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong. The door is metal, so I’m not too worried about it. The flip mechanism on these operates more smoothly than the others did. Easy to install with an electric drill and the right bits. Took about 5 minutes.

Great child lock for toddlers who like to explore and traditional knob childproofing doesn't work. My kids could figure out the knob child locks, deadbolts, and gates pretty quickly and our son liked to explore and get into everything, especially at night. We wanted something that would lock the exterior door so they couldn't leave the house unexpectedly. It requires more strength/dexterity than a toddler has and more than what is required for other child safety locks (plus we mounted it high up) but easy for someone older to use. This fit our purpose perfectly and it has the added benefit of adding a bit of additionally security on top of the deadbolt and traditional lock. The only issue is that our door was painted and it's taken a bit of the paint off from the repeated motion, but that's something that can be easily fixed when it's removed.

Works really good and make the doors solid like a brick wall

I am very happy with these door locks! I now have 5 locks on exterior and garage doors and I feel much more secure in my own home!! I even bought 2 more for a friend who lives alone in her house so she could feel more safe and also keep her young granddaughter from opening the exterior doors!! Thank you!!!
