This kit was bought as a gift. I was nervous because of mixed reviews on this product but it all looks promising. I can’t comment on using the clay but the frame looks lovely and comes with different coloured inserts and clear instructions for creating hand/ footprints. The box has slight imperfections but this won’t effect the products use and it will be gift wrapped anyway. Overall, a nice kit and good value for money.

As someone who works with all types of clay, I got this knowing what air-dry clay is going to be like. And know that this is not an easy medium for moulding baby hands and feet. But it is one of the easiest way you can do it without needing a kiln. If you are buying this product know that it is not easy to get a baby to open her hand, press it firmly onto the clay without moving and getting a good print. I am quite happy with the results of my mould even though it is far from perfect - my baby would not uncurl her toes and the foot print is a mess because of this. But did I expect baby to behave the way I wanted for my DIY project? No, it is not an easy medium to use with a baby but I prefer this over getting ink or paint on my baby’s hands. It is natural for air-dry clay to dry with cracks sometimes due to temperature and humidity. If you want perfect baby hand and feet prints, I suggest spending money and going to a professional. This is a home DIY kit after all. I give it five stars.

These would have been fantastic but there was cracks in the acrylic of 2 of the 4 items I bought. Too late to return as they for Christmas presents. Real shame as you can see the cracks when it’s complete. Otherwise easy to use, good choice of frame colours and nice quality outside frame

Couldn’t find what I was looking for on the high street, so I was pleased to find this - was very pleased with the kit, I feel that it looks good quality and it’s understated aesthetic will look good in any room and with any decor. The recipients were very happy with it.

Love how this has turned out. I was nervous of doing it after reading some reviews but it worked out perfectly. I had a professional one done for my first son but the company shut down. So I bought this one for my second son. I used the mini rolling pin which worked well. Make sure you push clay to the very edges first then roll. You also need someone to help you. It’s not perfect but I wasn’t expecting to be. Definitely worth it for the price.
