I was very pleased with this chrome look product. And it has the best price I could find. I wanted to give some cabinets some retro vibe, so I used narrow flat wooden molding, painted it black, then added this chrome look product on top, so a little black shows on each side of the molding. Worked great! I have no idea how well this would hold up in the elements however. I also doubt it would be good on a vehicle, as I have been told by a couple of body shops, that plastic molding like this does not stay well for the long term on a car. But it was great for my project.

Loved this stuff. I was looking at the tower panels in aluminum or stainless at over 110 and then had an idea. paid 10 for 16 ft roll of chrome foil and put it on, of course when I needed to trim the edges no one can draw that factory line with a razor knife so I did the next best thing and got this. I cut the lengths and ran them down the edges of the towers to create a factory line. Not only do they look clean and sharp now but I think they actually look more elegant than the plain expensive ones would have since they are multi leveled and stand out as unique. They stuck great and trimmed easy ... In the end I got all 6 pillars for only $20 not 110

Worked out great for a replacement of the factory Crome strip on a 1972 Amc Javelin

I had thought about getting the 5/16” at first then noticed the 1/2”which I got but if you want it to seen you should either get the 3/4” or 1” It does cut easy with scissors and sticks well but I did add a bead of caulking on top.

Actually works surprisingly well. It's been over a year and several car washes later and it still looks good.
