I only used one little bottle, followed the instructions and dried the yellow part then stuck it on the wall right next to my spice rack and maybe 2-3 hrs later all the fruit flies were gone for good. I really don't know if the fruit flies are dead inside the bottle as the liquid is a bit dark, or if they drink the poison and go die somewhere else, but anyway, it was super effective.
