Has anyone tried this for furniture?

Lots of bar tops, tables, furniture, tumblers and guitars too.

Is this similar to UV resin?

It is a high density poly acrylic with a uv pretectant added. This is more like a heavy acrylic based polyurethane than resin. If you use the high gloss it will have a similar finished look to resin in terms of shine but works more like a polyurethane.
