This is a real ResMed product! It is literally the same one that came with my AirCurve 10. This is very surprising to me, no knock offs, I will now always trust this company to deliver quality products. I see a lot of negative ratings on this and here's why. 1) When you get any new hose you need to wash it before use. A lot of comments here says it has a funky odor but that's because you didn't wash the hose prior to use. 2) The hot water will help the hose straighten out so you're not stuck with a bonded hose. I thought this was common sense but people need to know. I'd recommend this to anyone looking to add to their sleep therapy.

This works as expected and has good connection. However, when first starting the machine, there is a foul odor that lasts about 5 seconds. Seems to be a result of something leaching from the hose material when sitting stagnate until next operation. It isn't my machine as it is cleaned regularly, and no similar issue has occurred with any of my previous hoses. I have swapped hoses and only with this hose does that odor appear when first starting. Update: Odor no longer occurs and it performs as the original that came with the machine
