Perfect for anything to cast
Worked very well on the project i was working on. Was very easy to use and assemble. The value of it does match and is perfect on what you get. The durability was perfect as well it did not cracked on bit while drying. The softness was well to even though it was rough just needs a good sanding and it is smooth.

Really great plaster for silicone molds.
I was really confused by all the reviews saying this stuff set up way too fast. That said, I started with their thinnest recommendation of 3 part water and 4 parts powder. I poured it in and after a full half hour it was still liquid! That's not what I was reading. Oh well, the next batch I used the 2 parts water and 3 parts powder. Hmm.. a little better but still took too long for what I am planning. The third batch I went 150ml of water and 400ml of powder....Ahhh! Don't do that! I quickly added water to thin it and it actually did thin good enough to make the pour. So what did I learn? Pack your patience and stay with the 2 parts water, 3 parts powder. It still sets in about 35 minutes plus gives you time to tap out the bubbles. With Halloween coming up, I need to sell skulls now. My resin skulls are beautiful but no body wants to spend 20 bucks on a Halloween decoration. It cost me 12 dollars to make them. My daughter had a better idea with this plaster which costs a tiny fraction of what resin does. Plus we are going to paint them. She has her own ideas and I have mine. We'll see who's is better. Anyway, experiment with this plaster a bit. I really like it. I have not used plaster since I was a kid so this is kind of new to me.

Intermediate cost and value plaster for art projects - steep learning curve
The Reasonable Reviewer family are big craft and art enthusiasts. Molding, model making, and casting have been staples of ours for a long time. At the low end of the cost and quality scale is commercial, wall plaster. You can buy 50 pounds for a very reasonable price, and you can do a lot of things with it. At the high end are dental casting products like hydro-calc. Those products can craft incredible details and are very strong, but you have to pay a premium price for them. In-between those extremes is this art plaster. (Please see the enclosed pictures.) This plaster is relatively expensive compared to regular plaster of Paris, and I found that it hardens very, very, very quickly. It was not easy to mix and use. Even after trying a variety of mixing ratios, water temperatures, etc., about half the time, the product hardened before I could get it entirely in a mold. (Tricks like using cold water or adding some amounts of lemon juice or vinegar only resulted in plaster that never really set.) If you are planning on doing detailed plaster work then this is not the right product for you. If you have open-faced molds, homemade molds (e.g., old egg cartons), or you are looking to produce a lot of something relatively simple without a lot of detail then this plaster might work for you. Reasonable Reviewer recommends that you take a graduated approach to choosing your plaster. Start with wall plaster from a large, home improvement store first and see if that works for you. You could get a 5 lbs bag for less than you would play for one pound of this plaster. Play with the wall plaster a bit, and see what you can do. If that does not work well, try plaster of Paris that is a step up from the wall plaster, but is still significantly less expensive that this art plaster. Finally, if you are still looking for more detail then you might want to try this plaster. It is not a bad product, but it is relatively expensive for what you get, and you are going to have to take some significant time learning to use it.

Great value for the money. It dries extremely quickly so you have to work fast and don't try to add extra water to get extra product out of it because it'll only weaken the end result. But when it's mixed correctly, it hardens beautifully and the end result is a smooth solid product.

Trying this product with Prima molds for furniture. Easy to mix, instructions were clear. Would have given it 5 stars, but the box was all ripped up.

I tried to use it so many times but it just doesn’t seem to work. Maybe I’m doing something wrong, idk.

Tel que décrit et livré en temps promis. Semble de qualité, mais pas testé encore. Je ne suis pas inquiet que ça semble un bon produit

The packaging was terrible the box was split and there was white powder all over the place. The bag was not sealed properly and will not reseal. I'm so glad I got a large bowl and put the box in it before taking the bag out, there was powder all over the inside due to a hole in the bag. If you are pouring more than one thing be prepared to work fast as this stuff dries so fast you have no time for mistakes. I would have returned this except for the mess and the one I bought for a friend's son to make dinosaurs with was no different. The kids couldn't pour all their molds (3) before the stuff started to harden. Going back to JDiction ResinCrete, it may be more expensive but so worth it in the end. DO NOT RECOMMEND even when on sale.
