Gluten Free Lemongrass & Chili Instant Rice Noodle Soup, 1.6 oz (Pack of 12)

These are fantastic. I keep some in each flavor on hand. Having a celiac in the home plus my own gluten issues (inflammation and edema), these are a delicious option when everyone else wants a ramen night. I like to toss in a handful of shrimp with it. The sodium is a bit high but that’s to be expected with a product like this. The flavor is great, the texture is good, it’s easy to prepare, and I can have it every day if I want and not have to worry about a reaction. These have become a staple in my pantry, in all the available flavors. Definitely worth the money.

…for these types of noodles. They are not like ramen noodles. These are flat, thin, rice noodles. The instructions say to boil them. DON’T!!! The proper way is to ONLY BOIL THE WATER, take the pot off the heat, put in the noodles, oil and seasoning packet. Now, I like to put thinly sliced mushrooms in my noodles. COVER THE POT. Let stand for 3-4 minutes. Now the noodles are cooked gently by the hot water. Stir together. No more mushy, slimy noodles! Yes, the noodles are bland, but the soup is delicious with a little tart flavor! I just add some salt. Mmmmmm!

I first found these at a store about 15 years ago and hadn't seen them in years until I found them on Amazon. They still taste similar, but the flavor is not as pronounced as it used to be. I add chicken or broken up hardboiled eggs to the soup to bulk it up and add additional flavor. I was buying the cases of this through 2023 for half the price they are asking now. The value at the current price in May 2024 is not at all worth it.

Love this meal! I like to put boiling water in, just covering the noodles and powder/oil, then microwave it for 3-4 minutes. When it cools, it’s a really dense noodle dish. I think this tastes better than the more soupy style. I often have two packets as a meal. Love to add eggs, kimchi, sriracha, green onions, seaweed, sesame seeds… Fish sauce is a must. I’ve been eating this for the past twenty years!

I've been eating these for years I'll boil two packets for like 4 to 5 minutes rinse the noodles to cool them.. I never use the packets. I usually put spaghetti sauce or alfredo over these in a bowl then I reheat and it also will heat the sauce for about a minute or two add some butter and Parmesan which I eat the whole natural parmesan with no cellulose to cellulose is literally tree bark ground up and I really don't want to eat tree bark. These noodles are fantastic alternative to spaghetti noodles with gluten these are gluten-free and I don't feel horrible after eating them.

I used to buy this at local stores. Easy to fix, Gluten-free ramen soup. Tastes great

The flavor is not bad, but the dry pasta is nasty. I can taste it like it is old....

I buy these to stick in my work bag for staying out of town. I spend a lot of time in hotels traveling and often get in at weird times when nothing is open, but I still want something to eat. These are GREAT for making using the hot water out of a hotel room coffee maker. I will also use these at home when I just want a quick snack using a coffee mug and my electric kettle. Super easy to make and this lemongrass flavor in particular is EXCELLENT!
