BYOMA Balancing Face Mist

The BYOMA Balancing Face Mist has completely earned its spot in my daily routine. I bought it hoping for a refreshing midday mist, but it’s honestly so much more than that—it feels like skincare in spray form. The mist is lightweight and absorbs quickly, leaving my skin hydrated, calm, and slightly dewy without any stickiness. I use it after cleansing, before moisturizer, and sometimes as a refresher during the day, especially when my skin feels irritated or tight. It gives my skin a nice reset without messing up my makeup. What makes it stand out is the ingredients—ceramides, probiotics, and allantoin. I’ve noticed less redness, fewer random dry patches, and just an overall healthier feel to my skin barrier since I started using it. It’s gentle, alcohol-free, and doesn’t sting or clog my pores, even when my skin’s feeling extra sensitive. The only thing I’d change is the sprayer—it works fine but could be a little more fine-mist and less direct. I just hold it a bit farther from my face and it’s totally fine. This is an excellent product! My dermatologist recommended I try a Hypochlorous Acid Spray to clear up the odor in my right armpit (I know, TMI) that I was struggling with. I saw Prequel recommended online and when I realized that it is Accepted by the National Rosacea Society (this label is on the container) I decided to try this one, as I have suffered from Rosacea in the past and was currently quite red on both sides of my face and hadn't had any luck with over the counter remedies. I like the size of the bottle and I am really impressed with the spritzer, it sprays a fine mist. It is very lightweight, and there is no tingling or stinging or scent when I sprayed it on my body anywhere. I spray this like deodorant on my armpits immediately after showering and drying off and it has done an excellent job of killing the bacteria that soap and water wouldn't wash off. I also decided to start spraying this on both sides of my face after washing and drying to see if it could help with my redness. I just let it dry and then add my deodorant or my makeup (depending on where I had sprayed it). One day after having used it for 1-2 weeks I looked in the mirror and I realized that the redness on both sides of my face had gotten better! It wasn't gone, but it was not as red!! I can't tell you how happy I was just for the reduction in redness! I also spray it on my upper back and chest to help with minor acne as well, since I have oily skin there. What it is, is chlorinated water, which makes it a mild antibacterial (like what they use in swimming pools). Honestly I wish it came in containers twice the size.

I have sensitive/reactive skin that tends to lead more on the oily side in the summer, dehydrated (not dry) in the winter. I’ve found if I don’t keep up with moisturizing, my oiliness becomes much more apparent. This face mist from BYOMA is easily one of those things I’d add to the list when people ask you, “If you could only take 3 things to the wilderness, what would they be?” So yeah. That good. The feeling of my skin after I apply this is unmatched, the spray nozzle is very oddly (luxurious?), and I will be screaming from the rooftops that this has made a huge (positive) difference in the intensity of my acne flareups. After my first empty bottle, I didn’t have a second lined up to take it’s place, and it’s one of the only skincare products I’ve ever used that I could actually tell a difference by it’s absence. Everyone’s skin is different, reacts differently, and what works for someone may absolutely wreck your barrier personally (don’t ask me how I know🥴). But if you’re sensitive/reactive and have that sort of oily-but-oiler-if-dry skin type, this may be worth a shot.

Nice face mist. I love it at the pool and at the pool. Byoma is a nice brand. I have mature skin.

As someone with dry and sensitive skin this has been amazing for my skin. I use it as first step following cleansing and applying serum and my skin has never been better.
