Definitely a longer lasting toy for sure!!

Bought this for a not quite 2yr old german shepard who is definitely an aggressive chewer. While he still loves to chew up squishy items, he also appears to enjoy this bone and will chew on it for an extended period of time. It doesn't have a horrible chemical or bacon smell, but enough that the dog enjoys it and sticks with it. He has done minimal damage to it over the last 8weeks, but it is holding up much better than I anticipated. Definitely worth the money when he is able to chew through 98% of other chew toys/items we have bought.

Sitting here watching our 26 lb pup ravish this bacon scent/infused bone. She’s had it for maybe 6 months, never gets tired of it, and really really really loves gnawing on it. She has Belgian Malinois, German Shepherd and Bulldog Terrier in her, and can chew through “aggressive chewer toys” within minutes. So far there isn’t a toy she hasn’t destroyed/shredded within minutes. The end of this looks pretty rough now so we ordered a replacement. Figured I’d take this video of her last time enjoying it before we give her the new one. Was worth every penny.

We adopted a 1 yr old Husky/Shepherd mix...ohhhh boy, what was we thinking. Its been 5 yrs since we did all this puppy stuff. We forgot about the chewing phase. I bought this to give her something other than her stuffed toys to destroy and rawhide to chew. She is doing better at not destroying stuff she shouldn't be..she seems to really like this bone so far. Its a work in progress as new puppy parents and learning what is going to work with her. I definitely recommend this...its good quality for the money, and great for a medium to large teething puppy.

What's not to like when you find something that will actually last long enough for my dog to enjoy! Of all the toys, treats, bones etc that my GSD received for Christmas last year this is the ONLY one that was able to survive her chewing and is still being chewed today, All of the 'indestructible' chew toys, ripped apart within the first couple of days. She has chewed on this bone at least twice daily, after her morning and evening meals. I guess it must be her dessert! She chews on it very aggressively but she has not yet been able to defeat it. In fact, I went ahead and ordered her this bone just to have as a ready replacement when she finally is able to conquer the bone that she got for Chrisstmas.

My pupster is an aggressive chewer! I found these several years ago and we are never without one- in fact there is always a back up in the closet. She will chew on this for hours and not get bored. The only downside is occasionally there are these tiny rice size pieces that break off that get stuck in fabrics like socks and blankets. It’s not bad but your socks will definitely pick them up. Not bad enough though for me to stop buying these.

A bit expensive. Seems like very hard plastic. Bacon infused. My dogs will chew just about anything. And of course they love bacon. The bones are very heavy and seem well constructed if your building a wall with them. Maybe a bit over constructed. My dogs hardly even showed interest in sniffing them, to my human nose they even smell a bit artificial or plasticky. When coaxing them as if it were a toy they will not keep the bones in their mouths ,perhaps due to the weigh and hardness. While my dogs are aggressive chewers I cannot get them to touch these bones and perhaps for other pet owners this might be the perfect answer. But tested on 6 dogs now ,zero have shown interest. Perhaps it may just be our dogs.

I have 2 dogs and they love this bone. It lasts forever and is so good for there teeth and definitely keeps them busy for quite awhile.My dogs are big but my daughter has 2 small dogs and when come over they love chewing one them also.

Mylo is a jags-staff, Big chewer, Ziggy is a jackawowwow, mini-cheer. Have to buy bones to fit largest dog. Boss thought Ziggy won't be able to lift big bone - he ran upstairs with one and hid it! They must be very tasty - we couldn't hear TV over chewing noise.

Ich weiß nicht wie ich am besten anfange, möchte nur mit teilen das man die Finger von diesem Artikel lässt, meine Hundin hat diesen Hunde knochen zu Weihnachten geschenkt bekommen! Sie hat sich darüber sehr gefreut und hat ihn auch gleich genommen und sich mit beschäftigt! Nach ungefähr 20 min. habe ich mir den Knochen mal an geschaut und gesehen das er vollkommen übersäht war mit spitzen die durch das rum beißen auf dem Knochen entstanden sind und da der Knocken ziemlich hart ist. Durch das wegnehmen ist mir aufgefallen das dort Blut auf den Knochen war! Der nur entstehen konnte da Sie ihr Zahnfleisch beim drauf rum beißen verletzt hat. Daher haben wir ihn weggenommen damit Sie sich nicht noch mehr verletzt. Daher empfehle ich den Artikel nicht zukaufen wer sein Tier liebt! Leider kann ich kein Bild hinzufügen da wir den Knochen schon entsorgt haben, ich würde keine Rezension schreiben wenn dies nicht der Wahrheit entsprechen würde. Im normal Fall kein Stern, musste aber einen vergeben!

I have a big dog, big chewer, he does well with this toy. It has lasted him a long time. But it is not his go to all the time.

So our 6 month old shepherd cross has destroyed many "tough" toys that claim to be for big chewers. A week into owning this she's barely made a dent, despite giving it some quality time. Giving it four out of five and deducting the one star as the bacon infused part seems like a stretch.
