This cleaner is the ticket. I purchased it to primarily to clean a chair and other items in a rental unit, and this made them look brand new. Easy to use and cleans great. You simply add in the cleaning fluid along with the water. Fill container to the line for the water then to the line for cleaning solution, Pull the trigger and away you go. Very fast to use and it took care of my issue fast. Saved me several hundred dollars on the 1st because I did not have to buy new chairs. Thye look brand new now and my wife is very happy with them. My unit looks fresh and new now after using this machine. I plan to use it in my automobiles now to freshen up the carpet and the cloth seals. This machine is well worth the price plus the small compact size makes it easy to use, carry, and store. You cannot go wrong with this item.

I have owned the Shark Vac for over 20 yrs, and the Shark StainStriker is built with some of the same great features, such as easy rollup of the long power cord and the vacuum hose easily stores around the base. I had originally purchased the Bissell Pro cleaner on Black Friday because of the price , but it was their pro version, which meant it was heavily built so that it could be used everyday in a commercial setting and weighed in at a whopping 18 lb with cleaner. Whereas the Shark StainStriker weighs in at only 8 lb. The Shark motor is also considerably quieter when compared to the Bissell. The StainStriker also has one cleaning tool that I have yet to see on another portable cleaner. It comes with a small plastic cover that goes over the spray/vac head after removing the brush head. This allows you to run cleaner or water through the hose and clean out all of the dirty smelly water. My first pet rug cleaner was the little green machine, but I still remember that nothing was mentioned in the instructions that you needed to flush with clean water or solution after each use,. The hose became coated thicker with dried pet urine after each use, and and soon started to smell of urine. I then had to try and disconnect the hose from the machine and run hot water through the hose until it was somewhat clean, since you need a snake cleaning brush long enough to run through the long hose to really clean the inside of the hose. Luckily the Shark avoids all this by simply placing the plastic cleaning attachment on the end of the Spray/vac hose, and either run the remaining cleaner through the hose to clean it, or do as I do, and pour the remaining solution into a half gallion plastic milk jug, and write on the outside “Shark Cleaning Solution”, and save it to use the next time you have a quick job, and so you are not storing the solution in the cleaner. After storing the extra solution, i then rinse out the solution tank and fill it with just enough warm water so it does not overfill the dirty water tank, and let the machine run with the sprayer trigger depressed. The water that is cleaning the hose will go into the dirty water tank and dilute the dirty water before you dump it. Both of the dirty water and solution tanks are designed so you can easily open them both up to hand wash, or occasionally put on the top rack of your dishwasher on the mild cycle and allowed to air dry. I highly recommend the StainStriker.

When I opened the box, I was worried because I didn't know if this vacuum would work for me. However, after reading the manual, it was very easy to use. I ended up cleaning my car seats and more than I had planned. I cleaned my sectional sofa and dining room chairs. It works very well. It picks up dirt and has powerful suction, and I like that you can actually see what comes out. The sprayer cleans, eliminates odors, and is very easy to clean. The dirty water tank is very easy to clean. Everything looks and smells fresh and new. It's great to use between professional cleanings. Now I can have them done less often if I use this machine regularly. Highly recommended!

I recently purchased the Shark StainStriker to clean up an old recliner, and overall I’m pretty happy with it. I used distilled water instead of regular tap water, which I think helped avoid any buildup or residue. It’s worth mentioning this isn’t a commercial-grade vacuum, so the suction isn’t super powerful, but it definitely gets the job done with a little patience. For my recliner, I had to go over it about three times before I got the results I was looking for, and in the end, it looked much better. One thing I noticed is that when you remove the wide head attachment, the single detailing vacuum gives the best suction results. I actually found this to be the most effective way to clean tougher spots. It would’ve been nice if the unit had a steaming feature, but even without it, the machine performs well for its size and purpose. The build is sturdy, compact, and well-designed, making it easy to use and store. For home use, especially on furniture or small areas, this is a decent product that does what it promises.

After trying at home remedies, professional cleaners, other cleaning tools, and even witchcraft, nothing seemed to work on getting the stains out of our couch. We found the Shark StainStriker and it did not disappoint. The StainStriker (hearafter "SS") came with several different attachments and two small bottles of cleaner. We primarily used the carpet and upholstery head and it did wonders. The scrubbing brush comes with two sides: rubber and plastic bristles. We found the rubber to be best for our couch so as not to destroy the fabric. After a heavy application of the cleaning solution the years of dirt and stains seem to lift effortlessly out of couch as if it was nothing. I would chalk that up to the solution more than the suction itself, but the suction power was very good. As for the actual machine itself, the weight is not too bad and is similar to other machines we've had in the past. The machine is small and more compact so the power it produces is impressive. The spray effectiveness was solid, giving good range and the right amount of liquid. The one feature I wish this and all these types of machines had is a way to effectively clean the suction tube. We discovered that we could pour hot water down the nozzle and it seemed to get the dirt and hair completely out, but a detachable feature would be much better. Overall, we would highly recommend this product to anyone who needs an effective cleaning tool for tough stains.

I am so glad I ordered this spot cleaner and really wish I had years ago! We have a carpet shampooer, but it is large and heavy and a bit of an ordeal to use (certainly not ideal for small spots here and there, let alone stairs and cars). This is so easy to use and works as well as you'd hope! It is very maneuverable and offers versatility with the three different heads/attachments (plus more if you want to buy more). I used it to clean up a few cat puke spots, and a spot where my big fella decided to scoot his booty across the carpet. Three cycles of spray, scrub, and suck and viola! clean carpets again. If I had to pick one area for improvement, it would be to add a few more lines to the cleaning fluids containers. As it stands now, you have to fill the water one to the max fill line so you can add the right amount of concentration. The other container (the blue one) takes the cleaner straight up, which means you could pour back what you don't use into its container. Not so much with the concentrate. Having, say, three more options on the larger, clear container would be nice since I will rarely use all of that volume. That is just my 2 cents though and I could probably figure out the concentrate to water ratio and add my own lines. Overall though, I am very pleased with this and would 100% recommend it!

Spilled coffee -- with cream -- on front seat of car. Five minutes with this machine, and the stain is gone. Dog threw up on back seat of car. Fifteen minutes with this machine, and the stains are gone. Dog chewed up a gel pen on the living room carpet. Ten minutes with this machine, and the stains are gone. It's done everything I've asked of it, quickly, easily, and thoroughly. The one and only downside is that it's pretty loud, and you should wear ear protection while using it, but that's really pretty minor.

They are selling this product for $600 and they are sending you a US device to Australia. When you can buy one in Australia for $199 that is actually an Australian product. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IT IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF!

They sent a US product that doesn’t work in Saudi.. and they didn’t even specify at all anywhere that this is 110v. And to make matters worse there isn’t an option to retune this!!
