Saved me having to buy a new Tumble Dryer
If you have a Hotpoint or Candy Tumble Dryer (vented or condenser) and your Motor keeps getting stuck, it's likely to be the capacitor that has failed. Symptoms on ours was it would start a programme, but part way through get stuck. Fiddly to fit, but worth it because the alternative is a new Dryer. Capacitor is good quality and worked first time.

Cheap yet effective for HOOVER H-DRY 300
Works perfectly on my 2022 Hoover H-Dry 300, model: HLE C10 DCE 80. Symptom was the machine was humming but did nothing. The washing machine is a really bad design but I managed it by resting it on its back, removing the lower right cover (3 screws), then pulled out the circular disc which covers the fan, then using a 10mm socket on a long extension bar, remove the fan nut followed by the fan. Leave the split washer on the shaft as no need to remove it. Next, remove the fan cowl - this is a nightmare and doesn't quite fit through the gap so needs squeezing and pulling over to the left. The tricky bit now is to use a 13mm socket on a long extension bar to get the 13mm nut for the capacitor loose. I forced over the spring tensioners to expose the nut which requires a lot of force. Then you can carefully use your fingers to remove it and the serated washer. Make sure the capacitor is discharged by shorting the 2 terminals (blue and brown wires) with an insulated screwdriver or similar. It will most likely have zero charge anyway. I then held the capacitor and used a very long flat-head screwdriver to lever of the 2 spade connectors. Probably would have been easier to remove the drum.

Saved my tumble dryer
My tumble dryer kept getting stuck midway through cycle or struggled to start and after researching thought this replacement would be worth a try, managed to strip the dryer and replace this. It was very fiddly due to lack of space but now works perfectly. 100% worth it and came with next day delivery.
