Quality, value for money
Replaced my $200 range finder that lost the battery cover and company no longer make. This one is smaller, easy to fit in my hand and fits in my pouch on my vest which old one didn’t do. Optic is good, black circle with dot and give accurate yardage readings. No one uses a range finder for more than a few seconds anyway, don’t waste your money on a big name brand, this is a bargain and works!

Tiny but Mighty
Having needed to set up a couple of shooting ranges and not wanting to deal with measuring tape - I picked one of these up after doing some research on budget-minded monocular rangefinders. Overall this is a useful 875 yard rangefinder that renders reasonably accurate measurements very quickly. This is basically a smaller version of the HR-F700 with somewhat better range. I mostly needed this for determining ranges between 10 to 100 yards, and the TideWe Mini 875Y didn't disappoint me in this capacity. But as far as I can tell, it also can measure fairly accurately at longer distances - I shot it at the treetops of a small mountain close by the house I was at that I know to be roughly 700 to 800 yards from the backyard I was standing in, and it reported 700 to 790 yards depending on where I had it pointed. Obviously getting pinpoint accuracy on a specific target at this range wouldn't be practical because of vegetation and tree branches getting in the way, but all the same it still gives a general idea of how far away something is at that distance. Within 200 yards or less, I found that this device was able to get measurements pretty quickly regardless of what it was aimed at (houses, barns, mailboxes, tree trunks, grass, cars of various colors and bushes, etc etc). Even at 700+ yards I found that this unit captured the distances pretty quickly anyway. Three modes on this device: 1) Distance measuring: this is the mode that gives the line of sight distance, regardless of angle drop or rise. However you still get the the degree of angle you are viewing and how far in yards the target is above or below the rangerfinder's position. 2) Vertical and Horizontal Distance measuring: This gives the line-of-sight distance but also gives the horizontal distance from the target. You also get the distance of the vertical rise or drop. 3) Speed measuring: Does what it implies - measures the speed of a moving target in KM/H. Although all of these devices have pictures in the advertisements showing that you can measure the speed of a deer running at a 90 degree angle from you, this is NOT how radar/lidar guns work - you cannot get an accurate speed measurment from a perpindicular angle like that - you have to be at a more parrallel angle to get an accurate reading (45 degrees or less, if possible). I found as long as I was at a reasonable angle from a car or another moving object that I could get fairly accurate speed readings. All of these modes can take a single reading with a single press of the button or the button can be held down for continuous readings. I have found that for the best results, that one should run continuous scan and then release the button when you have your target centered as it will be much less likely to get pulled off target. This rangefinder is intended for hunting and shooting - so if you need a rangefinder for playing golf, this may not be your best choice; but I imagine it would still work in a pinch. Lastly, the display in the rangefinder is of the black LCD variety which means that if you are planning to use this in low lighting it's probably not going to be the best choice. If you generally are shooting or hunting during the day however - this will be fine. The diopter is pretty decent and probably will be able to render a clean sight picture for the vast majority of people. PLEASE NOTE however that the LCD display also employs the diopter to get properly focused (and this cannot be done independently) albeit in my case once I had a clear picture the LCD also was clean, so this should not be an issue for most people. I didn't seem to have the issue with the LCD being out of focus at long ranges that I have seen reported in another review of these rangefinders. One minor complaint I do have about this unit is the eye relief is very tight and until you get used to this, it is very easy to lose your sight picture. But for 65 bucks you cannot expect it to have the eye relief of a $300+ scope. Lastly, this comes with a nice little magnetic pouch (which is a good thing because there are no lenses caps). Pro's: Very compact Easy to Use Useful information Very fast readings Good build quality (made of aluminum) Pretty decent glass in lenses Decent carry pouch Decent battery life Cons: Very limited eye relief Not suitable for low lighting May be too small for people with large hands (look at the HR-F700/1000 instead). Versus the HD-F700/1000: The buttons are not separated like they are on the HD-Fxxxx series - although I personally didn't find this to be of any issue. The two big differences are: 1) The Mini has a better build quality with an aluminum chassis; and 2) I find the way the information is laid out in the Mini to be superior to that of the HR-Fxxxx series. Instead of having information both above and below the reticle like in the HR-Fxxxx series, the Mini has all the information grouped below the reticle which I find to be much more organized, to say nothing of that you still have a clear view above the reticle. Otherwise, it's hard to go wrong with either the Mini or the HR-Fxxxx series - they both seem to perform well. Overall, I would recommend the TideWe Mini 875Y to someone looking for a good basic inexpensive (and accurate) rangefinder.

Excellent little range finder for the price. Nice and clear easy to use and accurate. I just picked it up, but it looks well built. I can't wait to use it in the field next season

Great purchase, most bang for your buck!
This thing is awesome! I purchased a new bino pack with rangefinder pouch and my old rangefinder was so old it wouldn't fit in pouch, so I thought it was time to upgrade. So impressed with this thing for the price you pay. Works great, very small size, easy to use, and love the auto-scan option. A friend has one and he is on his second season and it is still on its original charge.

Nice little unit...me likey!
Just got one of these, and seems fine as far as I can tell. Very compact, very light, seems to be accurate. Really does fit in a shirt pocket. Has lots of features that might be useful, especially the "true horizontal" distance function if aiming off of the horizontal. Can't speak to durability since I just received the unit, but seems well built. Certainly well worth the price.

Good First Rangefinder
I have no prior experience with rangefinders and bought this one for hunting. It is easy to operate and as far as I can tell it is accurate. I like its small size and leave it in my hunting backpack. I have used it multiple times over the last year for hunting and sighting in guns and have not had to charge it a second time. I am not really familiar with a lot of the other features yet and just use it to point and tell me how far something is. On my stand I have about a 150 yard reach and it has always been accurate to how far a point is away from my stand. Overall I love this rangefinder and will continue to use it as long as it lasts.

Super impressed
Honestly I didnt have high expectations for this, was just buying an interim replacement for a name brand one that finally gave of the ghost. Saw a few youtube reviews on it and gave it a shot. After taking it out and getting consistent, accurate, and repeatable results out to about 620yds, I was thinking, ok cool. After playing around with it for about a week, I actually love it. It has all the features of much more expensive range finders, and its really compact and packable. Also, it doesnt feel cheaply made, it feels robust and of good quality. Glass is good, screen is pretty readable even in pacific nw gloom. Honestly, Im not in any hurry to replace it. It went from interim, to "okay lets run this til the wheels fall off and spend that money elsewhere". Great little unit at an excellent price.

Me sorprendió la calidad, muy preciso, lo comparé con un medidor laser Bosch y la distancia medida es bastante precisa, el único detalle es que no hay ranura para una correa.
