got this piece to power some security cameras that needed a replacement power pack. the build quality is good however i knock a star off due to having a heat issue. I feel this pack will work but heat will eventually kill this power pack over time. that said the value for function is fair and install is straight forward. this does come with the 8way splitter that comes in handy. overall im good with this item til it fails in the future.

Great item, fast delivery and real easy to install The problem that I had was the original power cords for the cameras was giving off an interference and shutoff camera problems. Is compatible to NIGHTOWL Systems.

So the one thing about this product that stood out to us was that if any of the connected equipment power connectors( we had one wired backwards) are wired incorrectly, then the entire device switches off. I find this to be both good and bad since it won't ruin itself or your equipment but can lead you to think there is an issue with the power supply. I didn't see anything about this in the documentation, but to be fair, we didn't look to closely at the instructions so there you go. Otherwise this wall wart has been plugged in and is doing a fine job of running a variety of 12v equipement in our home. (window blinds, zwave sensors, camera's, ect) Just watch the load and check that all those circuits are wired correctly and go. We had previously tried a metal wall box with a power supply inside it but it was tripping our afci every time any tiny little thing would disturb the power. This power supply was cheaper and has never tripped a breaker which actually makes me feel a little safer with it hidden in a hard to reach room.

bought it in 2023. received ok, worked perfectly. needed it to power 8 cameras hikvision. BUT, only lasted 2 years. guess it is what its worth. trying a new one, hope for better. otherwise will use a cutom power supply

Al conectarlo las cámaras en el día se veían relativamente bien, pero en la noche comenzaron a verse con rayas en la imagen, además que en menos de un mes dejó de funcionar.

J’ai un système de caméra (16) depuis plusieurs années et les transformateur ont cessé de fonctionner alors j’ai acheté pour remplacer et tout fonctionne A1

It's only been 3 months wasn't even powering the DVR only 4 cameras and I noticed it wasn't powering anymore, put on the old adapter and cameras came back online, will see if I can get it resolved
