Quite literally the finest fountain pen I have ever owned or used! Everything about this pen is luxuriously perfect-- from the attractive design of the cap, to the subtly wonderful tactile feeling of the barrel. And I love the shade of green used! The only thing more pleasurable than how the pen looks in one's hand is how the pen performs on paper. I've had many attractive pens (fountain pens and even my beloved Pilot G2 reusable pens) that drove me mad from skipping while I was writing, or struggled to produce consistent ink flow. But with THIS treasure of a pen writes beautifully--easily and consistently. Maybe it's because I've been using the included ink cartridge (of the very generous 10 pcs), rather than the converter. But so far I am confident that this pen will perform admirably in any case! Anyone who is on the fence about making this their 1st or 14th fountain pen should act now, before the seller realizes that such a perfect and pleasurable pen could sell for a much higher price!!! Honestly, this is MY go-to pen and love it!

Heavy, but balanced I wasn’t expecting much with the price of the pen. There was so many good reviews on it, of course a few of the I hate it, probably those who have never written with a fountain pen, more than likely a calligraphy pen. Trust me when I say there is a world of difference in the two. It is super smooth, ink never stops flowing I am still yet to have a skip in my writing, even when signing my name. I would recommend this pen to anyone who first has experience with a real fountain WRITING pen. You can get other nibs if you need a smaller or larger size. I bought this as a gift for my son. He tells me it’s a great pen that writes easy and smooth. The weight and balance feels good in his hand. However, one of the replacement heads is bent. There was no damage too the box, so it looks like it happened at the factory.

When you first install the ink cartridge, it takes several minutes, maybe 5, for ink to start flowing into nib. I started to think the pen or cartridge was faulty after trying to write several times and taking cartridge in and out to try and make it work. I am new to fountain pens so maybe this is normal but I wasn’t expecting it. Once it did start flowing, it was very nice. The ink flows well, it writes smoothly and there is no skipping. I got the medium nib because I like a dark, bold ink and this is perfect for my needs. It came with a bent nib also and additional ink cartridges. It’s on the heavy side but has a nice balance. I got the black and will keep it in a small pencil case to protect it and keep from losing it. I looked at several pens before selecting this and ultimately picked it due to good reviews and decent price. As far as I can tell right now, I’m going to be happy with my purchase.

Pen arrived with a damaged nib. I let the seller know and they sent a replacement immediately. Onto the pen itself...I have 5 fountain pens and this is my overall absolute favorite! It's beautiful, smooth flow, good weight but not too heavy. Great price too. Highly recommend!

At first I felt like this pen was a delight despite the weight issue (it is both heavy and poorly balanced). I am now frustrated with an unusable pen as it dries beyond simple resolution if not used daily. Even if I used it every work day, come Monday morning I would be spending significant time troubleshooting.
