Uncomfortable with poor company reviews. Anyone recommend an available alternative?

Hi, thank you for your comment about BraceAbility and our BraceAbility Obesity Knee Pain Brace. From looking at the comments you are referring to, there are several that state this brace falls/slides down. I have found in my 2.5 years at the company that many customers don't always order the correct size for a variety of reasons. They might think going larger is better with the thought of using the straps to tighten it up, but this isn't effective as a knee brace needs to fit snugly around the leg in order for it to be successful. We've also visited with many customers who weren't standing up when they took their measurements and this can make a huge difference as well. Also customers think if they wear a particular size clothing item, then this is the size they order, or maybe they don't have a soft tape measure so they just order a size that they think will work. I do see quite a few comments on how well made the item is. We do offer a return policy through Amazon for any reason as long as the item is in like new condition (no stains, tears, rips, pet/human hair, body dander, various odors, etc) - you might think this is a no-brainer, but you would not believe the items we get back that our customers think are acceptable. We do ask our customers to take these reviews with a grain of salt as you don't know what has prompted them to write something negative. These are an off-the-shelf item that won't work for everyone and that's why measurements are so very important. Our Customer Service Team is pretty good about letting a customer know that the item is not going to work for them if they contact us before ordering. I certainly appreciate the chance to educate potential buyers out there as to some of the customer issues we deal with on a regular basis and how to help them to understand what they can do to ensure a better experience with their brace purchases. Scared to take a chance on this and wanted to order more than one size. How much is return shipping? Your the 1st vendor I’ve found to do this.

I ordered and received the 2xl. My measurements are 21 1/2 on calf and 25 on thigh.. the velcro top barely fits is it to be snug or should I return ?

I had the same problem, but when I ordered the next size it would not stay up, I had a lot of trouble returning product also... Will not order from this company or product line again
