Osprey Hydraulics LT Reservoirs

I really like this design, its easy to fill/clean and offers a good volume of water for hydrating while active. Its real selling point for me is the magnetic strap attachment that keeps the outlet for the water firmly attached to your chest strap, no flapping about, just a great design that is executed very well indeed. You may find cheaper hydration packs but the quality of materials and the design really make this a great investment.

A bit more expensive than other hydration bladders but worth paying that little extra. Well made and compact once used. The extra features also make it easy to use and refill etc.

Works a treat! Needed a few uses to get the strong plastic taste out but that's standard with these bladders. Easy to fill up and insert in rucksack, and super easy to use and even in hikes in hit weather water stayed pretty cool. Definitely worth the money

Works well no leaks so far easy to fill and empty. I would have given 5 stars but it still has the plastic smell and taste after a few uses and a few cleans. But it is getting less.

My 12yr old loves having this in his osprey rucksack for day hikes. He is able to easily fill it and empty it himself. Feels heavy when full, but this has not bothered my son who is happy to carry it along with his lunch and spare clothes/kit for the day. We have had no issues with leaking or ineffective sealing at all.

An extremely easy-to-use and discreet bladder.

Water bladder came out of the box with a manufacturing defect, a small hole/tear under the red handle where it is bonded/glued to the reservoir and therefore leaked rapidly. Returned to amazon for a replacement, hopefully the next one wont have the same manufacturing defect, I would've expected some quality control from osprey/hydrapak to ensure defects like these do not leave the factory as i have seen several other reviews with the exast same defect as mine. Extremely disappointing after paying so much for the osprey name.

Good quality parts and quick release is really useful for filling up without removing hose from back pack. I like the magnetic clip also. Used on a 26 mile hike and was perfect!

This bladder has been upgraded a bit from the original 2.5L bladder that came with my 2022 Osprey Raptor 10L. It has a red handle which makes it easier to fill and a quick connect main hose. The bite valve feels a bit softer & easier to get water to flow through it. The small lever to turn the flow on/off is easier to use if you forget to turn it on while riding. The lever has a light-ish ratchet feel to set it at different flow rates but I only set it fully On or Off. I find It a lot better than the original bite valve (which I'd replaced early on with an old but larger camelbak on/off tap & mouth piece which was infinitely easier to use at the time). The price for this was good as the older style bladder was also available new but quite a bit more expensive than this model.

Ich kann die negativen Rezensionen überhaupt nicht bestätigen: weder ist er undicht noch richt er nach Plastik. 3x ausgespült und das Wasser schmeckt frisch und neutral. Die 1,5 l Version ist perfekt, nicht weil sie leichter als die 2,5 l Variante ist, sondern weil sie gefüllt weniger Platz im Rucksack (Osprey Hikelite 18l) wegnimmt. Und wenn man nicht gerade durch die Wüste läuft gibt an jeder Ecke Wasser: ergo 1,5l reichen völlig. Der Beutel ist durch die Innenstege sehr Formstabil er bleibt flach. Kupplung, Absperrhahn und Beißventil funktionieren einwandfrei bei umsichtiger Behandlung steht m. E. einer langen Lebensdauer nichts im Wege. Denke nach 5 Jahren ist der Produktlebenszyklus eh abgelaufen da sich dann die Weichmacher verflüchtigt haben, ab das weiß man ja sonst hätte man zur Aluflasche gegriffen und auf den enormen Komfort und die erhöhten Ausgaben verzichtet. Fazit: teuer, gut und ein absoluter Luxus der, wenn man bereit ist ihn sich zu gönnen, den Spaßfaktor am Wandern noch mal deutlich erhöht. Das Gewicht ist da wo es sein soll tief und nahe am Rücken und der nächste Schluck kein 10cm entfernt. Selbst zum Trocknen nach dem Reinigen gibt es einen Aufhänger. was will man mehr? Klare Kaufempfehlung, wenn Rucksack dafür ausgelegt und das nötige Kleingeld dafür übrig ist.

Perfect combination for the Talon 25L pack. Fits perfectly in the slot and the holder keeps the bag upright.
