I got this lamp because I needed better lighting for my desk while working from home, but honestly, it turned out even better than I expected. It’s super easy to install and fits right on top of my monitor, so it doesn’t take up any desk space at all. I really like the dual-light design, one light shines down on the desk, and the other lights up the back, which looks really cool. The front light has three different color modes, and the back has a bunch of multicolor options with nice effects. This light illuminates my desk space perfectly. Instillation was a breeze and the 3 settings are perfect. I like that it’s not so bright that it lights up my entire room. The backlights are a nice touch as well. I would have loved to get the light with the remote control, but this still does the job just without the convenience of a remote. Overall worth the money

This is a great light bar to sit on top of your monitor however it lacks a few features that would be nice to have. 1. Lacks full monochrome spectrum so there is no solo orange color which would be nice for the Halloween season. Closest is Red/Yellow. (There is an orange but not monochrome) 2. There is no way to adjust brightness of RGB part of light, you can only adjust the brightness of the Reading light on the bottom. 3. Should have made a remote for changing colors, speed, brightness. 4. Give power brick with purchase instead of just USB plug. 5. Should have downloadable program for customizing colors (example: Like Razor products) Overall, for $30-$40 you are getting what you pay for. An RGB monitor light bar that is great for reading/ work but lacks the brightness and color customization to achieve the perfect vibe but it get close. If its in your price range then it is worth it, If you can afford something better then go with something better.

Quality is good, pretty good for subtle lighting and a bit of atmospheric lighting. The colors leave some room for desire but it is very "gamerlike". Pretty easy plug and play.

I had an issue with lighting in my basement, which doubles as my studio. Whenever I film product reviews I'm not able to get decent lighting with just my key light, so I'd have to find a way to make it work. And at times when I'm working late or early in the morning but don't want the overhead lights on, I was working in the dark, which wasn't ideal. This light has completely changed the game for me. It allows me to get adequate lighting for top down shots for product reviews, it has RGB back lighting so I can change the look if I want to or keep it as white light for bias lighting, which helps with eye fatigue, or I can just use it without my overhead lights without having problems seeing what I'm doing. It's definitely worth the price and gets the job done really well. It simply plugs in via USB and that's it. All of the controls are built into the light itself. You have bi-color for the main light and RGB for the backlight.

A great addition to your screen to enhance the color quality with that light on the screen the light can be warm or cool as well, nice rgbs on the back but you wont be able to control rgb lights.

I accidently purchased a flat one, but it works absolutely fine even on a curved monitor (40 inch, subtle curve); It stops my eyes from getting sore when working longer editing sessions at night time! I don't know how, but I don't get sore eyes anymore! Lights facing down towards your keyboard are "always on" when turned on and have 3 colour options - warm light, neutral and cool; RGB lights on the back has "simply on mode" for: red, orange, green, blue, yellow, cyan, purple and white; as well as "scrolling effect" for : red/green, green/blue, blue/yellow, cyan/yellow, purple/cyan, white/ purple, rainbow. Unit feels like it is made of sturdy build, easy finger tap on side button to use / turn on and off, just tap tap tap to change, turn on, turn off etc. Heavy-ish counter balance ball at the back, clever small hook design that sits ontop of monitor to stop it from moving, even when I have swivelled / rotated my monitor around to plug things in / out - no issues, it stays put. Wish I had gotten the curved one because maybe it would work even better? Great product!
