Trangia 27 Series Multidisc for use as a Collander, Lid

Really useful little bit of kit Good chopping board which works well as a seive for, say, pasta. Packs In to the rest of the Trangia set. Definitely recommend!

This is a really useful addition to any Trangia Stove Kit. It fits inside the frying pan for transportation and can be used as a strainer, chopping board, base for snow, lid for the saucepan, serving plate and the list goes on and on. It is a cleverly designed and well though out piece of kit.

Ive had a trangia 27 for about 15 years which I love, I have so far managed to live without this disk previously using the frypan underside to prep things, however this year im leaving for over a month long trip and will need to broaden what I cook and this will make things so much easier, when packed it seems more secure as in it doesnt rattle around, it does increase the height but only by 2ml because it is recessed on the underside to allow it to clip onto the pot. I found it also makes a great base to the bottom of the frypan so you don't scratch if you use the frypan as a plate assuming you have a coated surface it also stops that nauseating scraping when using metal cutlery with aluminium. Im very pleased with this disk and would recommend to anyone with a trangia.

I bought this for my Trangia 27 kit. It fits inside the frying pan and protects it without the need for the irritating circle of floppy polythene that comes with a non-stick pan. The concentric ridges and grooves mean it can be used as a cover for either of the two sizes of pot, or as a base for the lower windshield. Can also be used as a drainer/strainer, using the pot gripper handle. Also can be used as a cutting board, although it will get some marks on it. Cannot be used as a lid when the pot is on the burner. A bit of a steep price for a single piece of moulded plastic. However, a very well-designed single piece of moulded plastic, and I may well buy another for my other Trangia. Recommended. Make sure that you buy the right size for yours. The 27 is the smaller of the 2 complete Trangia cook kits, the 25 is the larger, even though 27 is a bigger number than 25.

Fits great and is useful extra . Keeps my HA pan score free from my pots and is a platform for placing things when cooking to ensure nothing gets misplaced . I did use it for straining pasta and it did the job well. Stil to use as a cutting board yet but I can see it will do the job .

Great but if kit to go with my triangia, chopping board n drainer not a flimsy piece of plastic, nice n sturdy fits at base of triangia cooker system just for that extra stability but overall great piece of kit weighs absolutely nothing

Solid, sturdy and light. 👍 Really useful addition to the Trangia 27. Makes cutting and straining a pleasure, and packs beautifully into the frying pan for carriage & storage. If you have a Trangia and like to do more than boil a kettle with it, this is an essential accessory.

Way overpriced but still a useful accessory for Trangia stoves.
