Amazing Bluetooth turntable, a real head turner
I recently purchased the House of Marley Stir It Up Lux Wireless Turntable, and I couldn't be happier with it! First off, the design is absolutely stunning—it’s an eye-catching piece that looks amazing in our lounge. The blend of materials gives it a premium and stylish feel. Setting it up was incredibly easy. I was able to get it working in no time at all, and connecting it to my Marley speakers was super easy. I also tried it with my son’s Bluetooth speaker and pairing process was simple, and it stays connected without any issues, which is a big plus. If you're looking for a Bluetooth turntable that looks great, is easy to use, and provides excellent sound quality, I highly recommend the House of Marley Stir It Up Lux. It’s a perfect mix of style, functionality, and eco-friendliness. I’m extremely pleased with this purchase!

Stylish with Excellent Sound Quality
This record player is a great addition to my setup. The thick bamboo base and glass platter give it a retro look that feels sturdy and unique. Setup was pretty simple with the instructions about calibrating the arm. The Bluetooth connectivity is great, and I've had no problems connecting it to my Bluetooth headphones and speaker. Sound quality is nice and rich. While it doesn't come with a dust cover, I can see one is available separately if needed. To me, it's the sound quality, connectivity and style that stand out

Disappointed
Love the turntable but it was chafing/rubbing and not turning smoothly, so have returned, hopefully to be replaced as it is really cool😀

Sustainable production using recycled and upcycled materials
I have the House of Marley stir it up Bluetooth speaker and pairing this to the turntable was easy although you can plug in wired speakers. The design and style of this turntable perfectly match my same brand speaker and look great together although I am going to need to get another House of Marley Bluetooth speaker to compliment the set up. Maybe I can put that extra speaker on my Xmas list :-) I'm not a professional when it comes to analysing the build of a turntable and sure a professional DJ could give better insight into the quality to cost ratio but what I can say is that this turntable is aesthetically pleasing and brings back that retro feel to playing your music. I think most people have old vinyl and sadly over the years manufacturers have concentrated their efforts on digital playback such as compact disc, MP3 and so on which unfortunately caused the almost certain death of turntables for the domestic user. It's refreshing to know that you can get a very decent turntable which uses sustainable materials and is made from recycled and upcycled components and materials whilst also incorporating some top notch components that deliver good sound quality, including the anti-skate feature which helps to deliver the music the way it should be heard whilst helping to reduce wear on your stylus if set correctly. I love the turntable cover which can be reversed showing a Bob Marley animation when viewed at 11fps (something I haven't tried yet) but looks cool as is. It's fairly expensive at just under £350 at time of review but I often find that you pay more for ethically produced products and those which have a huge following and let's face it, you have to be from another planet if you've never heard or enjoyed a Bob Marley song. My only negative (and I'm sure the manufacturer thought about putting one on the turntable) is there is no dust cover although I think this would spoil the look. I love this turntable and combined with my House of Marley speaker I get a good sounding system that looks great and plays well all my old vinyl (my daughter is bugging me to give her this and swap it with her cheaper turntable....no way lol) I should point out to the potential purchaser and the seller that in the description it says this turntable has a maximum rpm of 78....it doesn't....this turntable only does 45 and 33rpm vinyl.

Just can't get past the fact there are no speakers
Review from my husband: Now, I already have one record player, it's a one-by-one which has an audio technica stylus and has fantastic sound. I already knew this when I selected this deck, that’s why I wanted it. It looks really, really nice and very modern looking with the glass platter being a lovely touch. The aluminium arm is really nice too, all very stylish looking with a very minimalist approach, so much so they forgot to include a dust cover, a nice glass one to compliment the platter would be very nice. Now, you need to supply your own speaker for this which I thought was a pain as I don’t have a Bluetooth wireless speaker so I had to borrow my son's JBL, which also is of fantastic quality, so after a bit of fiddling I got records playing and they all sounded great. the counterweight is a bit of a pain to get right though. It's all very well being conscious of our environment and using sustainable materials but when it starts costing silly money then it's just not sustainable for the buyers to keep buying products like this, especially with the cost of living and whatnot. Don’t get me wrong, this is a beautiful turntable and has pride of place in my dining room (minus a speaker), but for 350 quid with no built-in speaker or dust cover, it's just way too expensive because their own speaker set costs another 180 quid so that bumps it up to £530 and you can get amazing audio equipment for that much. There are other units out there with equal audio capability for a lot less, they might not be as environmentally friendly as Bob's gang but they are a lot more wallet-friendly and they have covers and speakers too. 4/5, sorry Bob, no speaker, no play :(
