Praveen came for the installation of the hob and he is extremely knowledgeable. Did a clean job and explained everything in detail. Update: The quality of the burner is not good. Paint started chipping off just 1 month of usage.

Received the hob today. Appears very good. Installation also done today. The Trivandrum service manager Mr Harish and the rechnician Mr Roy were very helpful throughout. I have purchased this product on last year October and till now i didnt face any mazor issue. Recently i face some burner issue and i called to elica support. They came and fix it quickly. So i can say that everyone is go for it. Its a very good product and customer service is too good.

I bought an Elica Hobtop from Amazon after extensive online review and showroom visits. I wanted to share my experience for all potential buyers. Model: The model I bought was Elica Hob (Flexi 375 Lotus 3 Brass Burners). Seller: This was sold by Dhara Enterprises, Hyderabad. The product got delivered at 10pm and was very poorly packed. One of the screws had come out from the packet to the floor where the delivery guy had kept the package. It got installed the next day by an authorised personnel at a cost of 413. The person did a good job to explain how to operate the hob and how to maintain the product to avoid any troubles. However, at the end of installation it was noticed that the warranty card and user manual was missing from the package. After the installation personnel left, when I tried to turn on the stove, I noticed that the ignition flickering continued even after the gas got turned on. It would stop only when I manually pull up the knob, showing that the knob was defective. I took a video of the problem and shared with the installation personnel who promised to come the next day. That video is being shared here. From the way it was packed and delivered and the issue with the knob has made me believe that the product is defective and I am going to return the product for replacement. Many buyers like me will come across such defective parts or incomplete parts issue. I do not think that this is an issue with the brand or product design - the product that I bought is one of the best reviewed model in Amazon. This issue is more related to improper handling of the product. I would ask buyers to exercise caution while choosing the seller. Preferably go with direct sellers from factory and not intermediate distributors.
