The TrueLumen 3-Way Splitter Cable for TrueLumen LED Strips, Lunar Lights and TrueLumen Pro LED Strips comes in handy if you wish to use a set of modules on separate side by side aquariums as I did, or use more than one chain of modules to provide coverage for a larger aquarium. This product features sufficient cord length which makes installation easy. The male / female connectors provide a secure connection. This is a great optional accessory and has enhanced my enjoyment of the TrueLumen 453nm Blue 3-LED Linking Module, One Female and One Male Connector modules.

Pretty good joints, strong feeling when attaching but not hard to detach. Good option for aquarium moonlights, just be aware of the length of the wires.

Make sure you understand you lighting needs. They are very bright LEDs but be aware of the area you have to cover

Total crap. I bought two 10 inch TrueLumen LED 453nm Actinic Blue lights and the power adapter (#1670) that is recommended for everything. Well, I didn't have my tank ready so I didn't actually try hooking everything up until today. So imagine my surprise when I tried to hook it all up and the splitter doesn't work with the adapter. The part of the splitter that accepts the adapter has too big of metal prong, so the adapter won't fit into the splitter. The lights fit into the adapter fine and the lights work. And the lights fit into the male ends of the splitter. The problem is with the adapter/splitter end. My problem now, is I went to Amazon to return it, but the return date has passed. I guess that is my fault, so I guess I'm out my money and stuck with a worthless piece of Chinese crap. All I can do now is to leave this review to warn anyone else to stay away from this splitter and the company that sells it. Absolute junk. I can see inside the female part of the adapter has a prong that is too big. Whether it was a mistake, or the wrong part, I don't know. What I would say to TruLumen it is fine to cut your costs manufacturing your products, but maybe you should get a quality control department, because you need it.
