I'm not a professional welder, so I can't make butt joint and fillet weld decisions by eye, I need help. Enter this gauge to help me out! The gauge comes in a very handy plastic case for storage when not needed, yet the tool itself is small enough to fit in a shirt pocket while you're working. Pretty good little set of gauges. I like that it is relatively easy to read and use. I find I can keep it in my pocket on my welding jacket and am able to get and use it right away. It would make a great gift for your favorite welder and is a must have in your shop.

Well made and impressively good tolerances. Guage has all of the measurements that you would expect and the handy pocket size decreases the odds that I will lose it.
