Conversion Upgrade LED Bulb Replacement Compatible for Maglite Flashlight 3 4 5 6 Cell C/D

I have owned this 6 cell Maglite for nearly four decades. I also bought the foregrip that was a ad on accessory. I have seen a few years back where they started selling the LED upgrade, but you had to buy the kit for 60 to $80. I was not going to fall into that because I knew one day sooner than later something like this would come about. It made my old Maglite as good as any brand new LED flashlight. This is an awesome upgrade for a excellent price! This is the best and cheapest upgrade that you could purchase. This LED bulb is so bright there is no comparison. Compared to the conventional halogen bulb, you would not believe how yellow that is compared to the LED. I'm telling you all you need is just this LED bulb... take your old halogen bulb out put the LED bulb in and you're going to be blown away. There is definitely a wow factor! I have no specifics on how many candle light per square inch or anything like that. I do have to say... I dare pointed up to the sky when a plane is flying over at night. I live about 5 mi from the airport and Planes come in about a thousand feet when they are lowering the landing gears directly over my house. I'm not saying it's as bright as a aerial Searchlight. But you will be impressed great upgrade I highly recommend it!

This LED bulb breathes new life into an old flashlight. While not as bright as some of the high end led lights, It is considerably brighter and whiter than any of the incandescent bulbs available. The price is right and the bulb drops right into the socket. Overall, I am very pleased with the price, performance, and quality of this lamp. I definitely recommend it if you have a Maglight flash that you want to bring into the 21st century.

Bulb was easily replaced in my 5c light and works perfectly.

Was quite easy to replace and a lot brighter than the original bulb,granted there’s LEDs smaller than my 3 D cell mag flashlight that are brighter for me it works great for what I’ll use it for

Put into a new 6C Maglite from the 90's that i found on Facebook for like $10. It is just as bright as my 3D cell LED 168 lumin Maglite but with a wider, not as sharp of a focused beam and it doesn't get as wide when youturn the head to flood. The older reflector is shallower than the newer 3D LED flashlight's reflector. The light is a more pleasent 4500-5000k that fits really well with the old mag. I was afraid it would be too blue or too bright but it's perfect. This should extend the battery life i hope at least half as long as my 3D maglite that has an 80 hour runtime. Compared to my Thrunite TN4A the beam to my eyes seems to have the same intensity but the Thrunite has a much wider beam and more spill illumination so it's much brighter at 1050 lumins, the reach is the same it's just the maglites have a much smaller spot but with the same intensity. The thrunite runs on 4 AA's for about 50 minutes at 1050 lumins. Overall i'm very happy with this bulb that brought new life to what otherwise would just be used to do crowd control.

Not much else to say, really. Dropped into a 4 D Maglite with zero issues, and after a little adjustment on the focus to eliminate the big black hole in the center of the beam, it works like a charm. The lumen output won't touch a tactical light running on an 18650, but it will still do the job, and it definitely has more heft than a tiny tac light. Solid product at a good price.

I had a few Maglites banging around, couldn't find bulbs, or the light was so dim compared to my much lighter flashlights I thought for sure the Maglites would be regulated to the dust bin. Low and behold, I took a chance on these LED replacement bulbs and the Maglite LIVES again! Super bright, inexpensive, available and making the maglite GREAT again. Will buy more as my older bulbs eventually die out.

Light has a shadow in the center of beam, Was expecting a bright beam, without distortion. Will not be purchasing any more of these brand.
