Fix it BEFORE it breaks with conductive grease from DeoxIT!
I've used this on many terminals that are prone to oxidation and overheating. My old fuse panel has a throw switch that had become oxidized and warped with age. After bending the throw bar back into place, it still failed to make full contact with bus. I added a light coating of DeoxIT conductive grease to the bars and they slid right in.I've also had EZ-connect terminals oxidize and overheat with time. By coating the bear copper terminals, not only does it prevent oxidation from overheating the appliances with high resistance, but it reduces the overall cost of running the appliances due to never forming a high resistance oxidation layer nor having to purchase new parts prematurely worn by the heat of such high resistance. It also works well on breakers and just about any flat surface-to-surface electrical contact. One bottle lasts a long while due to not requiring much grease to get the job done.A light coating is all you really need.

Good product thank you Deoxit
This product has a special purpose in lubing vfo capacitor shafts to improve vfo stability and performance. Thank you Deoxit for I believe a first of a kind invention!!

Pricey, but does what is claimed
This stuff is pretty expensive, given the quantity in the tube (hence four stars rather than five), but it absolutely works as advertised. I bought it to lubricate the cathode and anode contact threads on xenon arc lamp holders in movie theater projectors, to prevent their nuts from seizing. A current of between 20-30 volts and 100-250 amps DC (3-7kW) passes through these contacts. I can confirm that after a few weeks, the nuts have stayed at the torque I set after applying this grease to the threads, and did not seize. All in all, this is very much worth it as an insurance policy to ensure that I'll be able to undo the nuts without a fight when it comes time to replace the lamps.

Perfect for protecting and connecting corroded battery terminals
Amazing grease that actually seems to clean some of the corrosion off battery terminals. Improved connectivity for LED flashlights dramatically. Highly recommend the product especially for this application

Conductive dielectric grease
Protects and improves (??) electrical connections. I use it to keep moisture out and prevent corrosion on automotve apps ( Sparkplugs, light bulbs, etc). Keeps moisture out. The manufacturer claims it is conductive and over time it improves the connections by removing oxidization.A word of caution: I used it on the spade terminals on my oil burner, on a Carlin 45000 ignitor to a Carlin 70200 controller, and was getting unexplained "low amps ignitor" errors on the controller. Since the igniter is brand new, the Deoxit grease was a prime suspect. It would make sense if it impeded current flow enough to cause these errors. I disassembled all electrical connections, wiped off the deoxit grease, and my "low amps ignitor" errors cleared up immediately. Coincidence?Given that dielectric grease is supposed to be non-conductive, mostly meant for moisture protection. So a "conductive dielectric grease" is a bit nonsensical.I should do a controlled test, measuring a piece of wire's impedance using a spade connector with and without the grease, see if I can measure a difference in impedance.
