50amp power problems go away!
It does everything it claims. The unit is hefty and well made. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they (very thoughtful) included a bonded neutral plug for the generator. For reference my generator is an 10kw Westinghouse First outage and it performed great. Download the app and search for the unit, pops right up. Enter the pin on the unit label. The Bluetooth antenna could be better-20’ max. But it links right back up to the app on your phone without fuss if you wander. The load on aux power is now evenly distributed, and the main a/c unit can run without issue with all other appliances and circuits active. We could not do that before. You can adjust just the power plan for power posts at parks or marina’s with lower voltage - cool touch! So in summary it’s pricey. However, if you prefer to invest in quality, have power problems on a 30/50 amp service, and love plug and play simplicity, definitely try this out.

Product exceeds expectations.
I'm able to run my Predator 9500 inverter in eco mode with 2 RV AC units and a microwave at the same time. The unit tripped the first time I turned on my rear AC unit but I saw from the app that it had a 45 amp inrush. That allowed me to trouble shoot the AC unit and found a disconnected wire on the compressor. I’m very happy with the performance of this product and would highly recommend.

Don't waste your money!
Waste of money!! First one stopped working for no apparent reason. Got it replaced after a lot of back-and-forth with the manufacturer . . . Now the second one stopped working for no reason. Poorly engineered and does not provide the peace of mind we expected for a product like this at the high end of the price range.

So easy to use, no tearing your ac apart. Plus it comes with you. If you sell your rv. Customer service is amazing, you actually talk to a person.

Seller is not to ne trusted!
Fireside accepted a return from someone, shipped it back out and it doesn't work. Now returning it to Active Start and they are sending a working replacement.. You will be hearing from them. Next time you get a return, check it out to make sure it works BEFORE reselling it.
