OXO Good Grips Sleek Salt Mill with Adjustable Grind

Nicely made - very solid. Salt grind remains fairly coarse (which we happen to like). Does as it says it does: no salt leftovers sitting under the grinder, since it grinds from the top (turn upside down to use). Some of our guests have had to think a minute before their first cup of coffee as to which part to turn - but very ergonomic once you grab the right parts.

Had friends and fam over for dinner and got lots of compliments on the new salt grinder. It's very cool and works better and is easier to use even than my expensive pepper grinder. I'm going to put pink Himalayan salt in it when it's empty.

The product is attractive and easy to hold and use. There are coarseness choices which is a nice feature. It is also easy to fill.

I love that the grinder is on the top. I like being able to use different types of salt in the grinder. There is a dial on the top to adjust the size of the grains that come out. I haven't tried the larger settings, since the smallest size seems perfect for what we need. It seems to be good quality. I'm glad I bought it!

A little larger than I'd like, but like most OXO products, well made. I am still confused when I use it, as to which way to turn, and which end is up. Don't know why it's not more obvious to me. I've had it a month! I use himalayan pink salt crystals in it, (dumped the included salt out first) and it works excellent.

Excellent salt mill. I ordered both the salt and pepper mills to replace an older set I had. My favorite part about these is the salt and pepper are on the top, which means no more salt and pepper on my counter or table. I also like the adjustable grind.... these are well worth the price in my opinion. Easy to use, easy to load salt and peppercorn. I now own three of these...

I bought this to replace another salt grinder I had bought that would not work. This grinds up Himalayan pink salt beautifully. Dispenses from the top so no mess on the counter. I love it and highly recommend it.

Just perfect for everyday use! Durable and so easy to use! Loads at one end and dispenses at the other - brilliant and so sensible! The adjustable grind works well if other people at the table want to change it. I've had mine for awhile now and it continues to work just as well as new. Great quality. I only have the salt mill.

Vlad's wife here. I can't speak to the long term use of this as it just arrived today. I really like this salt grinder though - it's a great size (nice and big so we won't have to refill it all the time, has a large opening for adding salt easily, feels good in the hands, and I love the settings for fine or coarse grind. I wish out wood peppermill would break so I could justify getting the peppermill in this style. Not only is it great from a functional pov, it looks great as well!

Die Mühle ist nun gut 4 Monate im täglichen Gebrauch. Die Idee mit der Öffnung oben ist so simpel wie effizient. Kein Salz mehr auf Tisch und im Schrank verteilt. Das Design ist modern und sogar elegant, im Gegensatz zum kleineren Bruder (mMn). Befüllen geht auch sehr gut, dank der grossen Öffnung. Was mich am meisten überrascht ist die Stufeneinstellung: oft Marketinggeschwurbel oder Design-Gag, hier kann effektiv der Mahlgrad stufenweise eingestellt werden. Die Übergänge sind zwar fliessend, trotzdem wird das Mahlgut zum überwiegenden Teil in der gewünschten Grösse gemahlen. Bei der grössten Einstellung fallen dann auch die kleinen Körner mit raus bzw. können gleich rausgeschüttelt werden. Und etwas effizienter ist sie auch noch (Menge pro Dreh) als meine alte Peugeot. Bislang sehr empfehlenswert.

Hatte noch nie so viel Spaß beim Salz mahlen. Sieht spitze aus, die Bedienung ist einfach und es macht einen qualitativ hohen Eindruck. Ich denke das is gut angelegtes Geld, auch wenn es nicht der billigste Salzstreuer ist.

Works like a charm. I had a cheap plastic salt mill and this replaced it. Obviously this is miles better but it's very easy to use and has good options of the grinding size. I do think this could be cheaper but there are some ridiculous salt mills which are just not work the money. I would recommend this as it does the job.

Oxo Produkte sind eh gut. Und diese neue Salzmühle ist gut durchdacht und gut zu händeln. Und noch etwas geößer als das alte Model. Bingo.
