Sun Bum Mineral Sunscreen Spray SPF 50 6 oz

I was drawn to this as it is a mineral sunscreen in a spray form. However it does not spray well (it creates big droplets) and needs to be rubbed in A LOT. Even then, it leaves streaks of white and has a pretty strong white cast. On the positive side, after being in the pool for a couple hours, the sunscreen stayed on strong and I was not sunburnt. However I think I would get a non-spray version next time since the spray function is essentially useless.

Great product - does leave a white cast but worth it for the healthier option

I got this product because I am pregnant now and love the brand. There is no scent and it sprays on white and does not rub in well on darker skin leaving a white cast. I love that its 50 SPF and will most definitely be using it.

In an attempt to be more health conscious, I searched for a highly rated mineral sunscreen and Sun Bum was at the top of the list. It’s a bit pricey, as all sunscreens seem to be. Directions say to spray on and smooth with your hands. I don’t like that it sprays on white and doesn’t appear to fully absorb. It stays on the skin and leaves a pasty look…but, I do like the light fragrance and the fact that it is one of only a few mineral based sunscreens on the market.

Leaves a white cast, like all strong mineral sunscreens. Hard to get off even in the shower. However, it provides good protection.
