I like to deep fry my own fish in batter so I use a thermometer to get the fat just the right temperature. Unfortunately, my original one broke so I thought I would give this one a try. It is so good, it hooks on to the side of the pan and is easy to read.

Functional does the job

This is a great aid to check your food is cooked through , keep it handy and it won't let you down .

Great for temperature control

Good for deep frying but not suitable for shallow frying. The tip needs to be emersed at least 2cm before the reading can be trusted

Clips on to side of pan. Easy to read dial. Appears to be a little out on calibration.

I love this thing. I don't have the space for a deep fat fryer so this allows me to safely fry hot oil on the hob. I use it to make salt and pepper chicken, ji pai chicken, triple cooked fries and more! It does get hot and steam up a bit but to be expected.

Buena calidad y es bastante duradero. Ya se que no es un producto diseñado para esto 100% pero lo tengo metido en el fogon de churros y me dura y dura ya mas de un año. Se ha llenado un poco de aceite pero aun funciona.

Finale un termometro da frittura con una sonda non lunghissima. Perfetto per le fritture in padella
