Nice looking but clogs easily. Orifice/hole in the bottom where the water enters is way too small
This a nice looking gauge but there is a problem with them. After a month mine read 5psi with the pump off. The orifice/hole in the bottom where the water enters was clogged. The orifice is way too small and will clog up with dirt, DE and anything else. If you compare it to the Hayward you will see what I mean. That's why so many people complain about the hand being stuck above "0" or not registering a pressure at all. If you look at the orifice there will be something clogging it. I don't know why they are making them so small. It's supposed to keep the pointer from fluctuating but it is way too small for pool filter use. Here's a picture of the Hayward.

Poor Quality Devise
I purchased this product to use on my pool pump. I installed it mid May and it has already quit working. It has locked up at 0 and will not register any pressure. Very disappointing. tried returning it to Amazon but it is not eligible for return. If you need a pressure gage I recommend you look elsewhere.
