Excellent generator card game for 2-4 players Good for teaching. Mid complexity with good artwork. The automita for single player needs revision as it is too easy to beat. 8 tentacles to 1

I've loved playing this game online with friends, and was so thrilled to finally get a physical copy. The pieces are well made and fun to look at, and it's a fantastic game to play solo or with friends.

Space octopus game ftw!
I really like this one! Granted, I'm very fond of space games AND engine builders AND elder gods. This one plays like Splendor crossed with Apiary in that you are gathering cards to play, and some of the cards you play decrease card cost, while you are also choosing how to move the cephalopod god each turn. Players age 12-to-adult have played it twice in one day at our house and are still enjoying it. I'm not good with complex rules. They make my head hurt. But this was easy to learn and we managed to get up and playing a game in about 30 minutes. So far we haven't found any unanswered or vague rules. There are coop and single-player modes, but I haven't tried either. The tokens are wood, the tentacles and octopus are plastic, and the rest is paper cards and cardboard pieces. Overall it's good quality, no complaints yet, except that I fear the little cosmic portal cards will have arms break. The box storage is just one big chaos hole, no organization at all, but that's not unusual. I will ignore both those downsides because I like the game itself. Overall, I'm a big fan of this one!

Repeated playability and super fun
An incredibly fun product. Nicely priced. Game keeps us engaged and has a few different ways to play including solo and cooperative if your prefer that to competitive. Love it.

Muy divertido!!
Excelente juego, diferente a lo habitual! Al principio no es tan sencillo entenderle pero con una partida y listo. Ojo todo viene en inglés. Muy bonitas figuras y materiales de buena calidad. Recomendable para adolescentes en adelante (>12 años) Divertidísimo !
