They work
I have an old greenhouse that was given to me, and when I tried to put it together using the existing "c" type aluminum clamps it was not fun. The clamps were breaking, threads stripping, etc. I bought these and it's going up much easier and they are far stronger. I am attaching a 1-1/4 pipe to a 1-5/8 and it's working perfectly. I might take off a half star because a couple of the threads were slightly wonked and went on hard, but they still went on and are holding tight. These might be a little pricier that some other options but what they take away from the hassle and the stronger bond makes me happy. These will hold for as long as I have the greenhouse up. Much easier setup and I won't have to worry about future repairs using a cheaper option. I was going to use these only for part of the setup and try to salvage some older parts, but I just reordered more of these to do the entire job with them.

Perfect for Yakima round bars and Load Warrior
I wanted to mount my Yakima Load Warrior below my Yakima round bars, to lower the overall height of my roof rack. The stock mining hardware did not allow that. These clamps work perfectly! They fit around the basket crossbars and the round bars with very little play. There's just enough play to allow easy installation, but they hold very firmly once tightened. I've now used these to mount a Yakima basket on my car, and another on my camper. I put a drop of blue thread lock to keep the nuts from backing off.

Work well, but threads on one side are not cut well.
These worked perfectly to attach some 1-5/8" pipes to a 1" EMT canopy frame. They hold very tight with no wiggle, and help to keep the frame rigid. The only problem was that on one side (the same side each time), the threads were not cut well and I had problems threading the nut on it each and every time. The other side was perfect, and the nuts threaded with no issues. The manufacturer needs to adjust or replace the cutting head on the machine that cuts the threads on that one side. Otherwise, these clamps work great. No idea on how well these will resist rusting. Only time will tell.

Perfect!
Exactly what we needed to connect pipe corral panels to other panels mid-panel. Secure!

Work on 1 inch EMT conduit. Jury still out on quality. UPDATE!
UPDATE 6/13/25 I got another set of the larger connectors (1-5/8") to connect larger pipes to 1 inch EMT conduit. They worked great for that, and the hold tight to both size pipes. However, I had one big problem. The threads on every single connector on one side (only one side, but the same side on each one), were wonky, and I had a hard time getting a nut to align properly to get it started. There must be a problem with their thread cutting machine at the factory that mis-cut the threads on that one side. Hopefully they figure that out and correct it. If so, then these would get the 4 stars I gave on my initial review. Because of the misaligned threads on this whole bunch I ordered the second time, I have dropped a star, giving these 3 stars. Original Review: I am building a shade canopy out of 1 inch EMT conduit. Connectors for 1" are hard to find. The description says these will work for 1" - 1.25" pipe. I can verify these will work with 1" EMT. Once the clamp is tightened down, it makes a secure connection. The description also states these are "Electrogalvanized". That may be, but they sure don't look/feel like it. They appear to be plain steel. Time will tell if/when they rust. The nuts are also quite lightweight, so not sure what they are made of. I wish they included nylon lock nuts instead of plain nuts. The included nuts will have to be checked periodically to make sure they stay tight in the wind/vibration, and heat/cold, expansion/contraction cycling. Lock nuts would insure they stay tight. Would be worth paying an extra dollar or two to have them included. I did find it difficult to get the nuts started on many, if not most, of the brackets. Either the threads on the brackets or on the nuts are not done well. Sometimes you need to muscle past the start before they thread easily. That can lead to cross-threading which can damage the nut or bracket. That is an indication of poor quality control. The main takeaway is that these brackets work well. The quality is a bit suspect, hence the removal of a star. I also had a nut missing from my package. Not a big deal as I always have an assortment of spares on-hand, but again, another symptom of poor quality control. If they hold up long-term then the price of $22.00 is an OK deal at $2.20 per bracket. I will try to remember to update this review in the future after these have been in use for awhile.

Multipurpose clamps that were exactly what I needed for my DIY project
These are excellent clamps. I used 15 of them to build a canopy frame over my 14x16 deck. They are versatile too as they will connect pipes of different diameters. Hoping that they will endure for many years outside in Michigan weather. Don't see a need to disconnect them unless a heavy wind gust or tornado rips the tarp off of the frame.

Versatile! Connected 1/2" to 1" EMT
Used in a tomato trellis project where short cross pieces of 1/2" EMT needed to connect to longer pieces of 1" EMT. Perfectly strong and stable connections.
