Does anyone use this with a non power trim outboard?

I use this with my 25hp merc 4 stroke EFI on a 16.5 Smokercraft Big Fisherman.. While they recommend it for power trim my motor was slamming on every freeway overpass seam. Bungies just didnt help with a 165lb motor. I have no springs on my trailer. So I installed this unit . When extended it all the way I have to lift the motor about 2 inches and it drops right down on the rubber padded forks perfectly. The motor is rock solid now. Drilled one hole in trailer frame and done!

I have one of these and love it, however 2 of the 4 pads are coming off. Is there a way to replace the rubber pads?

Yes replacement bushing and hardware is item SP-410 or replacement toggles with bushings SP-416.
