This was perfect. I bought this cute little alligator to keep ducks out of our pool and when the wind blew it over, to worked! The ducks are now scared of the pool. The wind has blown it around and no popping or any issues with durability. Great price and floats perfectly without being in the way.

I bought two of these vinyl alligators in different sizes to try and reclaim my backyard pool from a persistent duck infestation, and it solved the problem immediately. I think the key was buying two different sizes; having a "pair" of different scales bobbing around looks much more like a natural predator threat than a single lone float. While they won't fool a human from a few feet away, the scale texture and eyes are realistic enough to be totally convincing to birds. What really makes them effective is how they move. Because they are lightweight, they drift naturally with the wind and the pool pump's current, so they are never in the same spot twice. That constant movement keeps the ducks from realizing they’re just toys. I haven’t seen a single duck since the day I put them in, which has saved me a ton of time on cleaning and maintenance. If you’re dealing with feathered "pool crashers," this is a simple, effective, and honestly pretty funny solution that actually delivers.

We got this to scare away the ducks from our swimming pool. Us two had moved in. We live in Southern California so we weren't sure if they would be afraid of the alligator ,first day we came out and they were swimming while the alligator was in the deep end. I threw the alligator at them. The next day they came back he was again floating in the deep end. I again threw him at them. The next time I saw them they were perched in their usual spot between our hot tub and our pool. So this time I decided to place him up there. Kind of looking like he was ready to go into the water that did the trick. Ever since then they have not come back. It took about a week of taunting them with it but they're gone and I don't think they're going to be coming back anytime soon. It's definitely worth the $22 not to deal with the duck poop and the flies it was attracting. I got the largest one. He's still not huge but he's substantial enough like a medium sized dog. He seems to hold air well. I would highly recommend this product to anybody who wants to get their pool back and make it not a pond.

Really cute! I used the gator as part of decorations for a "bayou" themed party! It was perfect! Nice size--showed up but didn't take up too much space on the serving table. Pretty realistic looking!

Very good quality and from 3-4 meters looks like real. Good companion for bicycle ride in Florida to surprise friends ( bought two ). Will recommend! --zuk

I bought the first pet gator Chewy the smallest one and he was perfect but I had to buy the largest gator to keep little Chewy company and help him keep the ducks out of the pool we've had them for about a month and haven't seen a duck in the pool we've seen them fly over and land in our neighbors pool instead so yes they do the job and look cool even our little chihuahua likes them as long as they stay in the pool
