I like the brush. It holds a lot of paint. I haven't used a dagger brush before and struggling a bit with it,but that's my problem. Overall a nice brush .

Black Velvet brush bristled out of shape
The item arrived promptly which is why I am giving this 1 star. This Silver Black Velvet watercolour brush was in a plastic bag to small for the brush, so as a consequence the bristles on the dagger brush where misshapen and damaged. The brush looked as if it had been used. This was a requite an expensive brush which had no protective coating on or packaged with any care by the seller. In fact it looks as if it has been used as a pastry brush!!!!!!! I was so looking forward to using it and I am really disappointed. I will try to make an attempt to restore it as I have a ongoing painting that must be completed.

My wife loved it and deemed it very high quality
My wife already had several brushes from this line and this one was requested. Like all of the brushes from this series, they are durable, hold water well and this particular brush is no different. Worth trying, as they are almost as good as sable brushes. Highly recommended.
