SmartHeart Fingertip Pulse Oximeter 1 Each 11-50L

The talking feature is why we bought this for my 92 year old mother in law. She is legally blind and wears a hearing aid. With this device she can monitor her blood oxygen levels, and it is loud enough for her to hear. It is easy to use and works well.

Purchased this for my father because he's blind from macular generation. It's phenomenal for the elderly, the blind, etc. The screen is bigger and the voice feature is loud so those struggling to hear would enjoy this. The ease of use os great and the accuracy of the readings is 100% (I work in healthcare so i tested this just in case. Dad loved this.

The English male voice that announces the readings is clear and easy to understand, making it very helpful for people with no or low vision. In my opinion, the accuracy of the blood oxygen readings is relatively good, but I wouldn't expect clinical-grade precision. Most of my readings have been consistent, though results can be significantly affected by less-than-ideal conditions (e.g. cold hands). The accuracy of the pulse rate measurements seems to be more precise. Overall, it's a suitable option for monitoring trends at home, especially for those with poor vision.

Tested this with another pulse/oxygen meter I have at home and it gave a great accurate reading. It reads out loud and clear. The price was right and delivery was fast. I will note it here if any changes within the year. Not sure why there are 1 star reviews. Maybe there were defected ones but ours is great. I highly recommend this pulse/oxygen meter especially for people who are visually impaired.

Love it…..it talks

I have low vision and I’m using Siri to write this. Please excuse any strange words. I could’ve bought the regular one for a lot less, but it would’ve been useless. It would’ve beeped but told me nothing. This tells me everything I need to know and I can keep track of it on a regular basis. I just leave it on my side table, slamming on my finger go And that way I can feel good about how I feel or how I don’t feel lol I think it’s great. Well worth the money good product. this is really nice, it has an audible readout which can help. it's very well made and easy to set up. instructions are clear enough. i tested this a few times on different people in the house and it worked fine each time. the readout is large and clear, easy to read but the audible readout is really nice too. i tested this on myself using another pulse oximeter to compare the readouts. there was minor differences so I'd say it's still acceptable enough to use.
