Really pleased with this Steam Generator, it replaces my 14yr old Morphy Richards Power Steam Elite. So far so good, works perfectly, no product manual but easy to download a copy, outer box was a bit tatty but product certainly doesn’t look to have been used, no scratches or marks. Haven’t used the self clean as yet but it is an added bonus as the old one had to be descaled manually. Really pleased to have saved £60 against the new one.

Amazing and powerful. Love the amount of steam and the fact it heats up water as its used. Vs using a pressurised container to heat up the steam which then needs to be cooled down, depressurised before refilling.Yes it's expensive but it cuts down ironing time even more. Than my cheap previous steam generator iron.Only downsides are the noise and the descaling aspects. When it forces water from the reservoir to be heated it is noisy. But only lasts about 2-3 seconds.As for the descaler. Its supposed to decent any scale into a separate part of the water tank which can be poured out. This is supposed to. Happen every 5litres or so. As of yet I've seen no evidence. Admittedly I don't live in a hard water area but I'd have expected to see water or something there or hear a noise to say something different was happening.Would I buy it again. Yes.

I brought this iron couple of months ago great at first but now I get water drops all over clothes has soon I start ironing , it self descales so don't know what is the problem is, my second Morphy Richards in 18 months won't be getting another one any time soon

Oh I love going back to a morph station , I just didn't get on with the iron my hubby brought me , so after my cleaner said off her experience that was it , I worded this one .Not complicated and not to many fanciness about and is a lot lighter then my last iron xxc

Ironing has never been my favorite pastime and this iron is wonderful for removing creases from overdry washing that's hung around for a while in the basket. The tank holds a generous amount of water so no need to refill so often whilst doing a long stint of ironing. Iron lighter than expected and glides smoothly. I actually enjoyed ironing for once. A little larger than anticipated so unable to stand generator tank on ironing board so needs to be placed on an adjacent surface, table or worktop with access to electricity supply, so you may, like me, be unable to iron in living room whilst watching TV.

So far, spot on.

it has just stopped working after nearly 2 years as its an expensive product I would have thought it would last a lot longer.

Does a good job. This one replaces my previous Murphy Richard’s which lasted well

This iron was DOA (Dead on Arrival). Upon doing research, these Morphy Richards irons come out number 1 on most people’s list but I had this iron and the Black & Purple version and even that after 3 months beacons faulty. I’m not sure whether it is the Morphy Richards iron itself or whether Amazon are handling these irons carelessly. The Morphy Richards brand in the UK is very strong and durable products however here in the Middle East they seem weak and they don’t even offer support here, it just takes me to the UK contact page.This iron had the makings to be amazing but the overall quality and components used must have been weak or not of high quality.

Broke twice in three months. Sent for repair and item returned. Still does not works!!

The steam generator doesn’t work from the day 1… I’m returning it back.. disappointed…
