How do you find anything interesting to say about a camera mount? It has one purpose; to mount a camera! That's it! On receiving the mount I realised that there's a bit more to it than that. Okay, once it's in position it becomes much the same as any other camera mount-but getting it into that position is where this mount excels. It's very well thought out, making the installation process as easy as possible. Only one slightly critical comment and I'm not even sure it is feasible or even possible to do anything about. With previous mounts I've experienced if you want to retrieve the camera it is necessary to take down the camera and the mount, sometimes fiddley, sometimes tricky.. With this mount the camera can be easily removed from the mount, but it's still attached by two wires. If the camera could be connected to the wiring in the mount/passing through the mount with a plug and socket arrangement I feel that would be a helpful improvement.As I said, my minor criticism doesn't alter the fact that it's an excellent mount and I can recommend to all.
