This is a great laptop! I just love the features and the fact that I can sign in with my fingerprint. Love it!!!!

So far I have no complaints. I have used this for several months and it meets my needs. I mainly use it to edit my YouTube videos.

I love the speed and how fast everything loads. The screen size is great. Unfortunately, I was in a pinch and needed a new computer fast so I did not do a complete research of this laptop before I purchased it. Here are a couple things I wish I had really checked out before I bought this one. 1. There is not all the ports that my old computer had. 2.The only way you can connect multiple monitors to this laptop is with separate cables. I needed to buy both a VGA to HDMI and a VGA to USB cable to make my older monitors funtion with this laptop. I bought 1 - HP VGA to HDMI connector ( I highly recommend you buy that) and also a VGA to USB (old USB style) cable to connect the monitors. 3.There is no Ethernet connection port. You will need to get a ethernet to USB-C cable connector for that. The USB-C port on the computer is for data only so if you are wanting to use it for any thing other than that forget it. I tried already. I spent too much to find this out the hard way. It will connect to the internet via WiFi if you are ok with that. Other than that I am pleased with my new laptop.

After purchasing this laptop with 64 gig of RAM, I almost immediately began experiencing BSODs. So I contacted HP support. They had me go through every possible test to make sure it wasn't a software issue and finally narrowed it down to a hardware issue, specifically bad RAM. Since this laptop was purchased by PCOnline US as a basic model with 16 Gig of RAM, HP was unable to help me further. So I contacted PCOnline US about the issue and they refused to help. I purchased the laptop in the US shortly before I moved to Colombia for 9 months. They refused to pay for shipping to send it back to them for repair, so I asked them if they could credit me for the RAM (it was one bad 32 Gig stick) and I would just buy a replacement here in Colombia, they refused.

*update* removing one more star as I just found out the usb-c port does NOT have video capabilities, meaning i can no longer use my docking station. My own fault I guess for not knowing and expecting a new pc to be able to run a lightening usb-c - which i assumed would be standard by now... Actually i guess the jokes on me bc Its not really a USB-C its a USB SS! :/ I want to like this laptop, but just like others. I really fear that this is refurbished. For “only” $800 I guess what did I expect. $800 is a lot of money for someone like me. So knowing that I didn’t have the money to buy what I wanted, and I needed a replacement quick, I got what I could afford, which was this. While using it, it runs beautifully. My touchscreen works perfect, I have a backlit keyboard. The screen is very very shiny. I don’t have the issue others are saying, but it is extremely glossy so certain angles it can be annoying. Overall nothing that has bothered me while actually using it though. My biggest concern is the fan. It constantly runs. I’ve never had a laptop with an SSD have a fan running so often, or getting so hot. I always thought the having an SSD made it so that the fan wasn’t needed as much. At least, my last Dell with an SSD never had this issue with the fan. It rarely ever came on. And this does get very warm to the touch despite the fan running so much. And it is LOUD. When I went to purchase this, this was one of the things that I did notice people complaining about in the reviews. I look back now, and I don’t see those reviews. But I know I read them. I see more complaints about the screen now than the fan. But this fan is extremely obnoxious. PC online was the third-party seller, so when I come back, if I have to come back, to update this review, It will fall on them. I found another review very interesting about HP stating they swap out parts. This explains why the fan could be so loud. And running so often - incompatible parts. Would it have been so much more to change the fan so that it could equip what you’re putting in the thing? And I’m really confused. Why would you even sell this as “new“ and not be upfront and admit it has been altered? I understand, upgrading computers, I always upgrade my computers. But that doesn’t seem what this is. As of right now though, I cannot say anything bad. It’s just knowing that I know shady practices were done, and Amazon is allowing it. It is functioning the way it should be, and it is running beautifully. But that fan. Holy moly that fan and the heat. It really worries me. Another thing that kind of has me worried, is that this laptop does not have a model. HP has the envy and all those other fancy names, yet this one is just a T-. Is it an actual HP product? Or once you make all the adjustments is that when it turns into, a T model? it was very hard to find any information on these. The only reason I purchased this one was because it was the only 17 inch, touchscreen under $1000. - and it wasn’t a Dell. I have been very faithful to them for over 30 years, and after the last one, I swore I would never purchase from them again. PcOnline, please don’t make me regret that. I’ve never had a laptop/computer last me less than 10 years. Being as only three months in the fan has me nervous, I am concerned. I really hope I don’t regret not returning this.

Piece of crap. It intermittently goes blank or stops working 2-3x per day. I have installed all updates and have no viruses. Seems underpowered compared to my last Adelle computer, which had less memory.
